Service mode. The longer you’re on service mode, that’s when you start seeing these consists that spawn into the world from portals that don’t have any way to Insert the reverse thus removing any capability to set the direction of the reverser.
Thanks for the info. If you have any videos or captures that I can forward would really be helpful. I will try to duplicate this when I get home tonight
What were you doing driving a freight at 130? 120 is the absolute maximum, and more usually it's 100 or less.
I may sound dumb on this one, but what is jira? I keep seeing that word mentioned here. Is that like a separate place to report bugs?
Pixelade JIRA is the tool we use (internally) to manage and track active ticket reports across all our titles, whether they're reported from Community, Developers, QA teams or our Beta players. We can see the progress of each ticket, and add comments/videos and information to support the issue. Once resolved, we then fold these into our patch notes ready to send out to players in the next game builds
Thank you for the feedback DTG Alex. Just two questions: 1. what qualifies a ticket to be "Active"? 2. what happens to the tickets that are not "Active" ?
Just found a fix sorta Drop the pan on the motor and put the pan back up Should resolve the issue but also do the reverser thing.
Passengers need fixes. At least make some check: if this is a start of the service - then no one disembarking. Also some platforms are empty 24/7. Also on some platforms passengers never embarking(they are just stay around the whole day). Also some platforms have infinite spawn(extremely overcrowded platform with more to come). Also on some platforms passengers don't know what to do and just standing next to the doors after disembarking.
Coming back to the HV repeaters at Rosenheim-Salzburg, the ones on the left track are also green. This is unrealistic, because the dispatcher would do this only when the need arises for Gleiswechselbetrieb (which is not the case here).
It's a distant signal for self-blocking signal, those can have Hp 1 as the base aspect (even while it's unlikely they would be set like that for left track).
Yes, you are of course right. The signalling path is not "wrong" in a strict technical sense but on this route the dispatcher would not set it. He would not have a reason to do so, 'cause no train could ever use the "green".
hey Matt, and Alex I wanted to ask whether the 425 from Bremen Oldenburg will finally be fixed in the upcoming summer update? As you can see in the picture, the 425 still has a problem with the light, which is now on both cabs and the rear light is still very bright
In fact I took the screenshot on an empty map in free roam, so I was aiming rather at the fact that ingame dispatcher never set those signals for anyone. H/v signalling does not include automatic block in traditional sense (unlike Hl and Ks signalling), but it has self-blocking signals that can be under some conditions set to show Hp 1 as a base aspect (not just with train approaching), unless the following block is occupied, which to some degree simulates the autoblock. SRM is the first route I noticed that deploys Auto-Fahrstraße across the board, it is nice to see that the signalling scripts are still getting some developer attention. However in reality, this setting requires also the direction permit, one of the very basic railway concepts that TSW (or Railworks) still does not implement. In reality, if you turn the direction permit around, AutoFS turns off and the signals fall back to Hp 0. But as the ingame dispatcher does not understand this and only considers A to B paths and nothing else, it will work correctly only for non-stopping services going from one station (Bf) from another. If you had two stops (Hp) on the open track between the stations, trains from both directions could plot a path to the first stop from their direction of travel. When they serve their stops, neither of them will be able to continue, creating a deadlock. Everyone who tried to build some routes in games like Transport Fever or OTTD quickly found how annoying the lack of this basic concept is.
Hi DTG Matt I was wondering if any of these bugs have potentially been listed regarding German/Austrian content fixes? - The IC coaches (Bpmmz and Avmmz) that come with the BR 101 always seem to have their saloon passenger coach lighting switched off - The BR 193 Vectron headlights look strange on older non-TOD 4 routes and needs to be fixed - AI trains don't seem to use wipers in the rain - On Rosenheim-Salzburg, sometimes, but not always, AI services that use dostos don't have their passenger saloon lighting switched on - On Vorarlberg, the four ES 64/BR 182 services still get stuck which means some services can't be completed in this route's timetable - Still some incorrect PIS for Vorarlberg
Can you fix Sand Patch Grade? The game will crash on PS5 every time I try to switch between external views of the train
Its nice to see that many of the ever-persisting bugs have been fixed. But after doing the Diesel-KaKo introduction, the normal n-Wagen KaKo came to my mind. When you have it in taillights, the top light is still illuminated white, instead of off. Also, the destination board still keeps on resetting itself. Talking about the Bremen-Oldenburg one only.
yeah, I already sent a ticket and reported this bug and others have done so too but dtg doesn't care, they haven't fixed this stupid bug until today
Done so too. I had my hopes up that it'd be fixed with the big update too. Again, annoying, as its such a small thing really. But I'm also grateful we got the amount of fixes we just received.
just now playing Hamburg Lubeck with 146 and even though I have set destination to Lubeck manually, it doesnt appear on the front of the loco
DTG Matt Trunk Service isn't fixed. I bought the 363 DLC the other day on recommendation, and spent time on Trunk Service getting connected to the log-bearing wagons, with the next goal to go and connect to 5 coaches. The blue path is set correctly on the map – until the train starts moving along it, then the blue pathway vanishes and the train heads off onto the wrong tracks. This is at the automatic junctions, so the player can't do anything about it.
