So I noticed this when playing lately with two locos, namely BR 218 and BR 111 when using train brake, which is kinda tied to dynamic brake lever as well As for BR 218, you can use train brake notches like minimal, and then 1-3, it basically skips notch 4 and goes for notch 5, then 6, and again, skips notch 7 and goes to full application As for BR 111, you can go to notches 1-6, skips 7 and goes full application In all cases, if you try to move the lever with mouse slowly, you can see it kinda shows those notches I mentioned it "skips", but as soon as you release mouse button, it jumps to next or previous notch Now, I dont know if this is a bug or an actual feature tied to how train brake also drags dynamic brake lever with it... if any of you guys has enough knowledge to know what that behavior means, I would be thankful for explanation
That's just a text problem for the HUD promts. Sometimes it can't get the correct idea what notch is where. With those tiny steps it has some problems. I will have a look if i can fix that on the 218, for the others its to late.
are you sure it is just prompt problem? cos when I do it with mouse, lets say 218, if you try holding notch 4 or 7 of train brake, you can, but as soon as you let go of the mouse button, it gets back to like previous notch, you can see the lever (and dynamic brake lever, as long as you hold those notches, just shakes like a madman lol)... I dont know, maybe with some footage it would be better? I will try and upload some
