So if you don't know nowadays the Bury line is light rail but back in 1983-1984 it used to have real trains. The bury line is a line that runs from Manchester Victoria station to Bury interchange. A little history trip here the line was opened back in 1846 it used to be a heavy rail line. The company that opened the line was absorbed into the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway in 1859. Also originally the line had only five intermediate stations but later 3 more stations were added. The first plans to turn the bury line into Metrolink was in the 1980s but then only a couple of years later the line sadly turned into light rail. That was the small history trip. The rolling stock that the line will use is the class 504 emu... that's the only train I found while researching the bury line lol but give me feedback in the comments below. Video of the bury line
Why would dovetail add a train just for AI, just like how Legweak Powershed (Armstrong Powerhouse) made the 717 ‘just for AI use.’ in their 700/707/717 enhancement pack.
I would go for this in the Class 504 era. There’s an old Railscene cab ride which has been archived on to YT and these have a lovely DC motor whine. Either that or do the Metrolink network.
