    1. Are there any faults that can occur (like in the LIRR stock)?
    2. Are the sounds authentic?
    3. Will it come with suspension?
    4. Is there anything to play with on the TMS?

Will the 380 have any layers?
When/where were the sounds for the 380 sourced?
What year is the new Cathcart update set in?
How many services are there total on cathcart now?
Do the 385/158/170 have any driveable services?
Has the 314 had any sound updates?

Can it couple to either the ROG class 37/700/710/Electrostars, or the class 385/class 66 from Engineering Express?

Can the PIS be manually changed like the class 377 and 387, or is it only automatic?

Was their anything Unique you had to do to make the Class 380?
What kind of problems did you bump into while making the Class 380?

Echo question re sounds. Please demonstrate fully in the preview.

Why the 380 and not a 320 or 334? (Or earlier 303/311 to provide a classic layer). To many of us just another one handled EMU with restricted cab view, probably poor sound and little incentive to buy.

Will the Cathcart update roll out side by side?

Is the 380 likely to see use elsewhere in a future project. Roadmap yada, yada, yada, but the Class 700 was another EMU launched with huge fanfare and now sits unloved, still rubbish sounds and largely forgotten.

Will there be a pre order discount?

Usual caveat, these questions are for DTG, resident unofficial spokesperson please don’t bother replying.

So the class 380 is very local to me so Where did you get the sound are they sourced from a 380 or are they using the class 700 sounds FYI this wouldn't bother me much as they sound similar is there a chance we can see the 380 on Edinburgh to Glasgow and fife circle as ai at Edinburgh Waverly or even be playable will there also be a manual I heard its a bit difficult to couple two 380s together as it's all done on the tms screen

Like others, I’d like to know how and where the sounds were sourced please. Were they from an actual 380? Were they AP? Also be interested to see a driving video (can be short) from the cab. Normally not keen on tiny windows, but the WIP shots of other aspects of the train look so good that maybe this is something I need to get over! Any manual or automated train announcements? Are the carriages definitely connected as you go round the corner (previous 801 issue)? Thank you

Will the preview be pre recorded footage or another of the recent mistake ridden previews because Matt can’t talk and drive. (I like Matt’s streams, but this style is not suited to previews which should be more professional in my opinion).

I feel the 218 preview didn’t help it at all. Good job it was good enough to sell itself.

Will the Class 380 have announcements?
Does the Class 380 have a true to life smart pis system?
Are you able to manually change the Class 380's PIS display?
Are the sounds recorded irl and authentic?
Does the Class 380 have a similar door system to the class 710 where they will close but not lock after a certain amount of time?
What is there to play around with on the TMS screen?
Are gaurds panels accessible to the player?
Is the cab door blind functional?
Can you lock the cab door like you can irl?
Can you angle the ganways when you are not coupled to a train?
Can you drive with angled ganways?
How far can you ride on the A.I services?
Are the Glasgow Southwestern Line (Kilmarnock, Dumfries, Carlisle & Barrhead) services simulated?

What led to the decision that the 380 was the right choice for the (seemingly) annual in house 'loco' dlc pack?

Can we expect further routes from Scotrail giving how widely used the 380 is used it would be great to have a route to Ayr or Largs etc.

The point of a preview stream is to show the product off that's always been the case articles first then livestream unless you've been living under a rock

It seems they are on good relations with ScotRail at the moment so probably trying to get as much of their rolling stock done. Personally I'd love to see older stock like the 318 or 320 as well if they are intent on going down the EMU route

If you're suggesting that you get an equal or greater sense of the product from an article then i'm inclined to think you're lying.

Articles show some pictures and detail.

You don't actually see the content until the preview stream.

I’ve noticed a lot of signalling irregularities especially around Glasgow Central, and the stepped distant signal on the approach to the circle: has the route been resignaled?

Would there ever be any scope to get the glasgow central to Ardrossan/Ayr/Largs or Wemyss Bay lines added?

Okay, having listened to the brief demonstration of sounds on the released clip, got to repeat the question - are these original sound recordings or is it a straight copy and paste from the Class 700? If the latter, has the audio coder got the balance to exterior sounds right and not botched it like the 700 which has never been fixed and we were pretty much told “like it or lump it” by DTG spokesperson(s)?

Bit of a niche question, but will completing any Class 380 services count towards the “complete 50 services” achievement?

Now we know it releases a week on Thursday 11th, will the price be £14.99? Also will the Cathcart remaster be released at the same time or either earlier or later?

Will the cab door opening not affect this train as before with the 385 on Edinburgh to Glasgow, the rear gangway door opened and Rivet had to fix it, same with the 377. Could this be prevented for this EMU?

Maybe some explanation on scotraill for international players? Because I'm getting confused with reading Glasgow and I'm sure I also have a route called Glasgow by Rivet. There is also another route by Rivet from Scotland that is now on sale. It's this loco layered on every route that has scotraill trains or only Carthart Circle?

Scotrail is the brand name of the Train Operating Company (TOC) operating internal services within Scotland under privatisation of the UK rail network. I believe they also retain responsibility for Anglo Scottish overnight sleeping car services. So all the routes set in Scotland, whether from DTG or Rivet are "Scotrail". Essentially it's the modern day equivalent of the old Scottish Region of British Rail. The infrastructure is of course operated by Network Rail, the quasi nationalised not for profit organisation which emerged from the "private" Railtrack.

For the Glasgow area you also have Strathclyde PTE (Passenger Transport Executive) who oversee all aspects of public transport in their area including buses and also own and operate the Glasgow Underground. However despite complex contractual arrangements, the trains are still operated by Scotrail.

Is the LNER HST in Scotland comparable to what in the EU would be an International train like TGV or ICE?

I suppose you could put it like that! Other TOC's operate into Scotland from England - LNER on the ECML, Avanti (previously Virgin) on the WCML and Cross Country on services from the South and South West. Various other smaller operators such as TPE also run through services into Scotland.

UK rail privatisation is a complex topic. And of course Scotrail work into England at Carlisle with services off the G&SW line via Dumfries.

Guys, I hope you will not be disappointed that none of your questions will be answered during the stream, instead they will drag "Dad Jokes", talk about food and dinosaurs [...] ah and casually mess up the scenario they try to showcase.

That’s why I asked if they had prepared any recorded footage to actually showcase the train. If it’s going to be as bad as the showcase for the 218, I’ll not bother watching.

No answer yet, so I’m taking that as a no.

No. Travelling from England to Scotland is not international travel. Both are in the UK.

Not wanting to go too much into it as it is off topic for this question thread but if an ICE train goes from Germany to France, both in the EU, that is international travel because Germany and France are different countries. The EU is not a country. But England and Scotland are in one country, UK, and therefore is not international travel. So not a potato tomato thing but a huge difference.

For a change, will you spend more than one minute showing the night lighting on this route. Currently it makes the route undriveable after dark.

    Getting stupid off topic but
"UK" is not a country, it's a union of countries (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland).
