Has the 314 had more destinations added to it such as Motherwell and Dalmuir? Will the destination board on the 314 still be blurry unless you are up close?
May have been asked already, can't really be asked to check: Is there a chance for the 380 to appear on other routes in the future, or will it only ever feature on Cathcart like the 700 does on SEHS?
Didn't watch the stream so missed this. Hopefully it isn't ruled out altogether, would be a shame otherwise.
I was not questioning the unity of your kingdom. I was referring to ICE and TGV as on how they are operated. From the Scottish routes I have the impression that Scotraill is the main operator in Scotland. From what I can tell from the rest of the UK it's all different operators. So when I see an LNER HST I wonder if it is because of the huge distances and it is used like a TGV or ICE where as you would travel inside Scotland you would only use Scotrail as operator.
Scotrail is the main company for Scotland though you could travel with Cross Country and LNER in Scotland as well
Yes, could say Lumo also though technically, don't run services in Scotland like Cross Country and LNER Lumo start and terminate in Scotland with no additional stops in Scotland apart from England
The 380 should appear on the Edinburgh to Glasgow route for a few services, as a rail tour only though. It would be a crime not to add it.
What I thing that would be to see. Departure Boards: CHARTER TRAIN *All the train spotters start running with their cameras to see it* *2 mins later* *A class 380 pulls in with SPECIAL on its PIS display* *A simultaneous sigh echos across Glasgow Central*
I think something like the pacer on WCL would be better, it doesn't appear as AI, but you would have the option to run it as a substitute to the 385 if you wanted.
Huh? Why does that matter. DTG add plenty of rail tours for other routes in the game, when rail tours weren’t featured on there IRL.
But they are added when the route releases. Very rarely, unless a whole rework is done, does anything new that comes out get retrofitted to all old routes where it might appear, even if it is a train that actually runs on a particular route. That’s the main reason why it doesn’t appear on Edinburgh-Glasgow. That route is already out. Rivet aren’t going to add it because they have no incentive to revisit their route for a DTG loco release (paying staff to do work with no revenue from the loco DLC) and DTG put all their efforts into a whole reworking of Cathcart, the route the DLC is for. It’s pretty standard stuff for TSW. Also, as others have said, a Class 380 railtour is not even a thing. Railtours usually use the trains of yesteryear not modern EMUs. When the Flying Scotsman released, it wasn’t added to every route where it could appear, and that’s a proper railtour train, so it’s not going to happen for a Class 380. It is quite easy to add one in by using Free Roam though.
The 380 can couple to a 385 but only in emergency situations not in passenger service as the electric systems and computer stuff are not compatible
A 380 towing the elusive Mark One RMB buffet car. Now I’d definitely pay £12.99 to experience that! As regards Railtours, generally these seem to be utilising classic traction which enthusiasts want to travel behind, as I indicated earlier. Not workaday trains from another route in the close area.
What questions are you wanting answers for probably best to type them in a post to clarify what ones you want answers to.
Well they did say on stream that Alex was going to respond to the outstanding questions including where the sounds were sourced from, but seems to have fallen into the weekend bucket!
