Xbox Series X Layers On Ecml

I own the Midland Mainline DLC, as well as the ECML. However, the MML HST and MK3 stock doesn't spawn in at the TMD to the left of Doncaster Station. This has been an ongoing issue and I know the HST is supposed to be there as I've seen it on other People's photo's and YT channels

 

Which timetable and which console are you on?

 

I'm on the timetable that I can drive the EMT 158 on. I'm on an XBox series S

 

Just spawned in on PS5 and can confirm the assorted things are there, no idea what’s the cause, could it be console-related?

Could it be the same issue that Cathcart circle and other routes that have multiple timetables have? I don't have the Midland Mainline so can't confirm.

Were you both spawning in on foot?

 

I spawned on foot, not sure about jplayz1151 though

 

Hi, just noticed this. No I have spawned in on foot, free roam, and in timetable mode and it still doesn't appear.

Free roam won’t have it, on foot in timetable mode will though

 

It's just strange to me how this hasn't been picked up before by other Xbox users, but also as to why it has taken this long to be identified

 

What would be very useful is if another XBS user came along to confirm or deny the bug, but the fact that it is fine on PS5 does prove interesting.

 

I'll second that. It's just odd it's happening on Xbox alone

Are you sure it isn’t defaulting you to the reduced one due to being on Series S rather than X?
Try and spawn in in a train at Doncaster on the full timetable?

 

Do you own the WSR 47?

 

Could be useful to get someone on XBX as well as S as it would prove whether it’s gen based or not

The game gives me two options, the reduced one (which I don't use often) and the other one which has the compatible DLCs for the route

 

Try the other one on foot and in a train (base livery), if it doesn’t work, I have no idea

The selection is helpful though as I know some consoles can’t do that, so the logical issue would be wrong timetable

I can't check tonight but if none else with a series S pops up in here before I get home from work tomorrow I'll see what the deal on my series S is. Been playing a lot of MML and BPO recently so can't give an answer off my head!

 

I tried this method and it still hasn't shown up. Thank you for trying to help though.

 

jplayz1151 seeing as no one has been able to see what other series S' are doing I have fired mine up whilst my tea is in the microwave and can confirm I had AI at Donny including HSTs (MTU & VP 185) 47s, 166s, 66s, and various other bits as well, I believe. Afraid I have no technical knowledge so have no idea why the layers aren't showing for you mate.

Jplays, to confirm and summarise, you are loading up the full timetable, in which you have the option to drive the EMT class 158.
When entering the timetable in any way (including spawning in a service and spawning on foot) and checking for EMT AI HST stock, you cannot find any at Doncaster TMD at the times and seasons that they are supposed to be there.

Have I understood you correctly, and have I missed anything?

 

Just to confirm, for comparison I loaded this in July at 13:05.

 

Series X user here.

Spawned in timetable (full, not reduced) on today's date (13 July), first Leeds to King's Cross service of the day.

Only layer I don't have is the Class 323 as I don't own Glossop, but the EMT HST was present as AI at Doncaster.

I managed to get this resolved. I recently found out that you can download Mods from TrainsimCommunity for my XBox account on PC and whatever the mods for the midland mainline did, it ended up fixing this as well.

 

I'd like to thank everyone who tried to get this resolved in this thread. It worked eventually.

 

I have tried playing on my XBox and it still doesn't work. Only on the PC using my Xbox account
