I have noticed a few times now when driving on southeastern I have an issue with the 465. Start at dartford, set cab up driving to gravesend, everything is fine. No issues.

Then I go to the other cab on return journey.
Set cab up, time to depart comes, close doors but train doesn’t want to move.

    playing on PlayStation 5

    any ideals?

Is all of your doors closed including driver cab door. Some train required those to be closed before moving. Also make sure your previous cab is turn off completely and the master key removes before changing cab.

I don't remember having any issues changing ends on Steam, but that was a while ago.

Have you tried isolating the safety systems in the other cab?
Have you used the DRA at all?
Did you press any emergency brake buttons? I did this once on London Commuter - took me 7 minutes to figure it out (story for another time).
A good idea, but the class 465 is one of the few trains that can be driven with the cab doors open.

Rear is cab is shut down just tails on. And cab doors are closed. It’s strange…

The only way I can get the train too move is to completely power down the unit then repower and take power. But then I have to do this at every stop.

I have just done extensive testing in the training centre, and the only way I have been able to recreate the bug is to put the power handle in the rear cab into the 'Emergency brake' position. Could this be the issue?

I have to give it ago when I next get this issue. But surely if that’s the issue then I shouldn’t be able to move the train still after powering down and re powering the unit.

So I tested it, placing the power control into emergency and closing down the cab. Then starting from the other and as thought train didn’t move. Had to go back and place control into B2/3 then return and I could drive. However it seems strange, is that normal behaviour or a bug, because the only other way to get around this is to power down the unit and power up again at every stop.

You never put the power lever in emergency when shutting down a cab, always in full service. At least, that's my understanding.
Have you found a solution to the issue yet?

I have now by not putting it in emergency, but what I don’t understand that if you power down the unit and repower while the rear cab break is in emergency you can get the unit to move until the next stop.

I don't get that either - I'll do some more training centre work and see if I can get that to happen.
