Class 801 Question

Well,I notice that there is a green signal button above the door release button.What does it mean? I didn't hear nor see anything after I push it.
Besides,does anybody know if the ETCS is effective in the game?

 

havent tried... Luzern Sursee is the only DLC with ETCS in it, but I believe Swiss use different current than UK, so it might not work, dunno

 

Thanks for replying.I searched Internet,there are news about "Having installed ETCS on the East Coast Main Line"in reality.But Dovetail didn't give any information about it,that makes me confused.

 

The ETCS is not functional nor replicated on the game, at the moment only Luzern to Sursee has it on TSW.
The Class 801 is fitted with ETCS but not operational yet as the ECML has to be fully equipped with ETCS, I believe the first train is expected to run under that signaling system by the end of 2025.

It is the button for communication with the guard and in real life makes a buzz sort of sound when you press it, this not being replicated in game.
