This is probably a bit of a niche question but I am currently making my own formations, for Scenario Creation, using the editor. So far, I have had next to no success in creating a rake of loaded MFA wagons. Empties are easy to do but loaded? (The best I have done so far is to get a rake of wagons where about half of them have a load but, even then, the 'loads' aren't uniform in the few wagons that something does appear). :(

I then thought I would copy data from the 'official' formations but even doing that results in either empty or incorrectly loaded wagons. After that I tried playing 'official' scenarios and looked out for full MFA rakes en-route but, so far, haven't ever seen one. :|

So the question is. Has anyone ever seen a fully loaded MFA wagon(s). If so then can you please let me know where so I can then go in to the editor and try and find out how it was done.

    Thanks very much.

Just checked and the same thing happens to me. Even if I have the exact same formation twice in the editor, the MFA wagons are loaded differently in each one. Maybe DTG put some code in the MFA wagon that randomizes the load? Not sure how one would disable it, if that is what is happening

Edit: I think the problem is the cargo abp animation not setting the visual level of the aggregate properly

Even in actual timetable mode in SEHS, the MFAs are only sporadically loaded. This is just how DTG scripted them, although I'm not sure how that adds up in terms of weight. But no I haven't seen a fully loaded MFA wagon, and I'm not sure it even exists.

Thanks guys for having a quick look and telling me what I feared.

That doesn't surprise me in the slightest but I have no idea how (or if) it is possible to tweak this at all.

When I started this I thought it would be easy. I never thought for one minute that there will be basic errors like this with simple things like loads. I can only assume that the wagons were correctly full at one point but that an upgrade to the game later on might have broken them.

Personally I don't like the loading that is visible in game. (An odd wagon full, the next empty, one just about having the floor covered, one half full etc etc). It just looks wrong. Anyway I am now up to 1000 formations (BR Blue locos and CL66s) so I have plenty to play with in Scenario Creation. At the moment I am doing the more mixed formations (see below) and will, hopefully, upload some mods soon so that everyone else can have greater choice when creating scenarios.

(The good news is that Community Liveries can be applied to the majority of these formations too).

Guess what? Now I can't seem to get loaded HEA wagons (even though there is an entirely separate model for the loaded version).

Why can't TSW ever be straightforward :| :(

As far i noticed most loaded and empty wagons are separate wagons and implemented as 2 different wagons.
They also have different brake forces etc.

Would be interesting to know how they coded the tvl coal hoppers, because they can be loaded and unloaded ingame.

    2.nd variant:
maybe the physics are refering to the one basic wagon and can change depending on the load. same goes for the brake force. But for selecting in the menu (consist editor), dtg just made the empty wagon type standard, and made 1 loaded version preselected (for example vtg eanos), even if the model ingame would support all different loading capacity.
