I agree for HRR that can become HDBA Hollandstrecke Duisburg/Bochum-Arnhem 145km complete with DB BR1429 422 427 462 189. The challenge is running a Werdohl Elverlingsen bound Falnqqs 130 C-Akv 189 on HRR.
Would like to dm 30 or de30 and c3 additions as well as non electrified territory added to Lirr route oyster bay, port Jefferson or even half the Montauk branch included and extended to Ronkonkoma that would be excellent
I would love to see the WCML in some capacity, Modern or Classic. 1990s would be amazing, with the different variety of locomotives.
There will be a TSW5, It has become a yearly release now. They always end up with my money because they offer routes that I love.
- West Coast Main Line (WCML) – Southern Section: a stretch from Rugby to Birmingham, offering a mix of high-speed Avanti West Coast services and brand new Class 66 freight! - Munich to Nuremberg (Schnellfahrstrecke München–Nürnberg): This high-speed line provides a combination of ICE services and regional trains using existing assets. Los Angeles to San Diego: A scenic coastal route that combines urban commuter services with Amtrak long-distance travel. They already have the GP38-2 and the Acela so this should be a nice relaxing run. Oh. And now you have rail replacement busses to truly make it a realistic experience.
How will Aсela help them with Los Angeles to San Diego? So WCML is obvious now, then we need to guess US and DE. My thoughts: DE: Munich - Nurnberg US: DC - Baltimore, cause they learned how to build good working in-cab signalling, plus they re-upped an MP36.
Switching to Unreal Engine 5 with ray-traced global illumination would surely enhance passenger cabins, making them look more realistic by eliminating the need for baking lighting to textures. This also would save time in content creation as uvw mapping could be done under a minute.
I hope if they do re-release the game again they take some time to offer some basic features that are missing in the current versions... like brightness/contrast sliders. I don't know about PC but on console the only way to adjust your brightness and contrast is by using your actual monitor/tv buttons, there's NO menu for this at all in the game. Kind of crazy, every screen is different so not giving people the option to adjust this stuff without changing settings for their entire screen is a hassle.
I hope the illumination is improved, nothing worse than driving at sunrise or sunset and the sun is behind your train but the cab is still bright. Oh and it would be good if we could turn those horrible rail shadows off.
Especially when they run just ahead of your train. It’s not quite as bad in TSW4 as TSW3 when the line looked like it was covered in black treacle but still bad and now you just get that horrid reflective shiny effect off the trackbed when the sun is out. Even an old route like Newcastle to Edinburgh looks much better in TSC.
To be honest, I'm more interested in finding out what Just Trains new mystery route is, than anything related to TSW5 right now.
For real first of all have to add some more features to the game, some more random events, more things around...who knows maybe we will see moving cows around, how people asking for new routes if here we have tons of playing hours but the game need some fixes and remastering from zero?? I want to see more features thats all...better graphics, better scenery and more to happen around...and finally a new passenger systeeeeem...cmooon!
You know what I agree with you mate, from what we have been drip fed it could be even better than expected when another JT route were announced!
DTG have already said they won't upgrade to UE5 as none of the existing DLC will work in the new engine, everything would have to be remade from scratch in UE5
Ofcourse not. No RT, no DLSS/FSR, no CAS, no DLAA(most sadly for me, because I hate TAA),no brightness settings, no sharpening settings. Instead we have umbrellas.
If a multi-billion dollar company like Microsoft decided not to put ray tracing in Forza Motorsport, after promising it months before launch, what makes you think a tiny company like DTG will add it to TSW? You need to take a reality check and temper your expectations a little.
As far as I know, there is no AMTRAK EMD GP38-2 on that Route the AMTRAK Alstom Acela no working in the Route and the AMTRAK do have EMD GP38-2 but in another US State and the Alstom Acela works in WA, not in CA, since it is an Electric Train although I heard in a news story that they want to Electrify CA for Electric Trains, they already did it with Caltrain
Oh please no. Not another random bit in the middle of a route like ECML! Surely it must go from Euston to, say, MK or Rugby.
No it doesn't. WA - is a state of Washington on North-West part of the US. Acela works on NEC on North-East part of the US. I think you just got the state and city mixed up. So I decided to clarify just in case.
Technically Rugby to Birmingham isn't the WCML anyway - it's the Grand Junction Line. WCML proper runs via the Trent Valley to Stafford. Anyhow this is all supposed to be a bit taboo and schtum until 20th August.
