This route would span the 50 miles from Southampton to Weymouth and include the class 444. All stations on the line are about to be listed
    Weymouth
    Upwey
    Dorchester south
    Moreaton
    Wool
    Wareham
    Holton heath
    Hamworthey
    Poole
    Parkstone
    Branksome
    Bournemouth
    Pokesdown
    Christchurch
    Hinton admiral
    New Milton
    Sway
    Brockenhurst
    Beauilu road
    Ashurst new forest
    Totton
    Redbridge
    Millbrook
    Southampton central

    Services are:
    Winchester to Poole/bournemouth (stopper)
    London Waterloo to Weymouth (express)
    London Waterloo to Poole (semi-fast)
Dovetail does have the license for swr, so it is surprising we haven’t got anything besides island line. Thanks for reading

They had the license for SWT in TSC not TSW, different product which would require different licenses.
Also there are different types of licenses, most would need another license or permission again to create another route

Rivet owns the license, not Dovetail.

Dovetail obviously have the license as well otherwise it wouldn't be in TSW.

Portsmouth harbour, Southampton and eastleigh triangle! Even the dock for the class 66. However... slamdoors and a thumper would be perfect!

Network south east or before era

The South West main line Is definitely needed. The south is getting forgotten about like the North was

The licence might not be an issue much longer. It is government policy to bring the railways back into public ownership. They have already announced that the franchises will not be renewed when they come to an end. The South West franchise ends in May 2025, so after that the line will be taken back under government control.

The livery is fictional ‘due to licensing issues’

Yes but in BR era, which would require 4REP and 4TC units with a rework of the Class 33 into a Class 33/1. This would also allow the iconic Weymouth Quay line to be represented in game.

That's South western railway though south west trains is the alternate for a modern day setting for 450, 444. Network southeast and BR Blue for is available but for slammer emus Definitely no sign on a 377 in tat time frame

    They don't

The island line uses a fictional livery - the colour scheme is irrelevant - you can't copyright a colour.

SWR are kind of stingy with licensing - if we got an SWML route unless that changes - we are getting SWT era.
