I've got a problem the the Dosto cab car sliding backward while releasing the break could any one help out with this
You must be on a hill, there's a little indicator above the HUD telling you the gradient. Simple solution is to apply a little power as you release the brake (like a car hill start).
Apply power, wait for revs or amps to come up a bit and then release brake. If you're in a loco that has train and loco brakes then apply loco brake, release train brake, apply power, wait for application of power, release loco brake If you apply power and neither the revs nor amps start to come up then you have a bigger problem (engine not started, DRA or other warning system applied etc etc) I find in the AP 150 pack that I have to wait until the doors are closed, the guard has acknowledged, the brake interlock has disengaged and only then will the revs come up so I can release the brakes. Could be similar in this scenario
I still need help with this problem. the dosto cabcar started to slide away as I released the break. I applied power a bit but I found the loco Br146 wouldn't get started.
If you try to leave the brakes in 1A and apply a bit power, then releasing the brakes as the power builds up. Is there any change?
You can't apply power while the brake is applied. On German locos you have first to release the brakes and then apply power. And for this the power handle had to be moved to "off" before you can again apply power after you have used the brakes. But you can do this to prevent rolling back: set the brake to notch 4, release the brake and as the pressure in the brake cylinders going down apply power and you will go without rolling backwards.
