If you want to drive the train "Talent 2" on the Dresden-Riesa route, for example, you can't because the screens are dark. So this train is actually unusable on this route. The same thing happens if you want to use this train on your own route in the editor. The screens always remain dark. Switching it on and off has no effect.
Your screenshot shows an unpowered train, with key out. And why use Cologne-Aachen Talent 2 when DRA brings its own version matching the route? Not sure what to make of it.... Also it is known that SKA has wrong formations with missing pantos for ages...
Yes, I took a photo of it without a key. But of course I also tried it with a key. Screen on/off didn't work. Battery is on too. But it only affects the Cologne-Aachen version. The train that runs on the route there by default works.
Yeah, so just use the correct DRA VVO 442 which is running there IRL. SKA is a pre-TSW3 route and has different lighting, so just don't use that Talent there (the TSW3+ world lighting is just too strong for the displays to show anything). Problem solved
Yes, that's right, just use the right train. It's just a shame that you can't use the train in the editor, as the version from Cologne is the only one with 4 cars and both sliding steps work for different heights. Also funny: The pantographs are sometimes missing on the Cologne route . Has there ever been an announcement that this will be fixed?
The pantographs are missing since TSW3 release. A simple formation fix (patch for PC on trainsimcommunity) which DTG never bothered doing themselves. ("We are looking into it.") I prefer "We'll fix it." https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...007-tsw4-koln-aachen-br442-re9-pantograph-fix
