Hey drivers, I love to do back-to-back services because it’s feels more like a real train driver’s job. I know some routes let the player do this like LIRR Commuter, London Commuter and EastCoastway (partly). Do you know some more?
    Thank you!

if I understand this right, back to back services are where after stopping at the final station you change cabs and return the other way around?

No service variety with the 710, just back and forth runs but the train and the route are very well made and you do get freight as well, I’d give it a 7 or 8/10.

There is also Cathcart circle which is an enclosed route, default timetable is kinda empty but if get the 380 (which is also worth it) the route becomes much busier

Yes, although Glossop services are about 30 minutes whilst Cross City services are between 1 hour & 1 hour 30

The St Pancras to Faversham runs on SEHS work well, also there's an early morning Thameslink service going back and forth a few times.

Can’t remember the exact length of Glossop, about 15 miles I think. Cross City is about 32 miles

The DMU services on NTP are self contained. WSR of course. Blackpool and IOW have back to back services. Niddertalbahn, Bremen to Oldenburg, LFR Maintalbahn if you like Germany routes. Boston Sprinter has them as well as does Harlem.

The vast majority of Cathcart Circle services go back to back to back to back etc.

Some - Neilston services - give you three "services" in one (if you go back to Glasgow) as they split the turnback into a separate listing, seemingly for the 314. So, a good way to rack up medals/completion.

Glossop Line, BCC, London Commuter (London - Gatwick/Brighton services), East Coastway (Seaford/Lewes services) and Isle of Wight are all able to be operated as a "shift", too, off the the top of my head. WSR but that is very slow and can have long idle spells between services so I wouldn't recommend that for this purpose, similar to Edinburgh-Glasgow in that regard, trains seem to sit forever.

I’ve already seen a lot better recommendations on here but I would guess Trenton - NY Penn and back (in NJT stock) probably has some of what you’re looking for too…

Boston Sprinter is pretty good for this (f40 from Boston, cab car from Providence)… plus there’s the Stoughton branch

West Cornwall Local has the Penzance to St Austell runs, along with the St Erth - St Ives shuttles.

Blackpool Branches has Blackpool South to Ormskirk which is back to back, mixed in are some that Terminate at Preston too, so you could run Blackpool to Ormskirk > Ormskirk to Preston > Preston to Ormskirk > Ormskirk to Blackpool etc. it’s a fun way to spend 3 hours.

Another bonus to Blackpool branches is that the pacer it comes with can also be used on the West Cornwall line, which is a much better run than in the 150.

I did that on MSB when I started with TSW like 5 years ago. There was a 20 minute service, I think it was the "Iserlohner"

Just bear in mind if you have to break off and save on a subsequent run, when you return and load the game the objective data will not appear due to a flaw in the save game process.

Tees Valley. You can do all the Saltburn services, change ends and drive back, same with the Darlington to Middlesbrough services. In addition, all the empty steel trains to Lackenby have a return loaded train to drive. The Coal trains to Redcar can all be unloaded and driven back as well.

That one is on RSN, on MSB you got a short service between Lohr Bahnhof and Gemünden...
