    Introduction
Hello, welcome back to another suggestion! Today it's a route that I've been on alot recently. The west highland line. This route would be set modern day and would have some interesting features and amazing scenery!

    The Route
This is a stunning 60 mile route from Glasgow Queen Street to Creinlarich. Push the train to it's limits and climb the mountains as you make your way down from the Highlands to the city of Glasgow.

    Class 156
    ScotRail_Class_156_DMU_in_2022.jpg

The ScotRail Class 156 Super Sprinter is a 75mph DMU originally built for regional railways by Metro Camel. Currently the only operators that use these trains are Northern Rail and ScotRail and both companies are trying to phase these trains out. That's why I'd like them replicated in game before it becomes too difficult to do such a thing. These trains sounds amazing and have a brilliant roar to them! They have a sleek refurbished Scottish interior with smart p.i.s displays, gaurds pannels, windows at every seat and luggage racks with the scotrail moquette in them. These are really good trains and I'd love for them to be replicated the best way possible. There is also the new feature of RETB pannels for players to use. :)

    Class 153

Possibly the best looking livery in the UK, the class 153 highland explorer is a fab looking train that can couple to any sprinter and looks fantastic. It sounds a bit like a 156 and has an interesting cab design. The ScotRail version would have half the train used as cycle storage and a lovely west highland line interior.

Eastfield depot from Edinburgh to Glasgow would be the main depot for this route and there would be lots of other routes for the trains to layer onto.

I would give my left kidney for this route.

    I love the West Highlands.

Hopefully the rumoured 156 is being designed for a Scottish Route.

Not a clue, the 156 "leak" was kept very hush hush, so other than trusting the few reputable members who saw it, I can't be 100% sure it exists, or who was making it.

But given Rivet have 2 UK routes upcoming in the next 6 months, if its a route, it's probably them. Or it could be one of the loco pack new partners in the roadmap.

I do hope rivet do what skyhook did this time and work with dtg for the sounds and phycics. Also, smart pis please! I hate routes that don't have that. You'd think it's a basic feature now.

Hi @TSW Nathan! I wanted to ask you, given my future proposal on this route: How does the convoy sep. take place at Crianlarich? Do two 156s travel together between Glasgow and Crianlarich (2+2) and then separate there? Because I know that after Crianlarich, one unit goes to Fort William and one to Oban. Thanks in advance!
PS. Finally I saw that it's worth doing only the Glasgow-Crianlarich or Crianlarich-Oban stretch. The others 2 have only 6 trains/day!

I believe 6 head north into Crianlarich, 3 split and serve both Oban and Mallaig, while the other 3 only serve Oban.

So in reality only 3 split.

GQS - Crianlarich is definitely a route I’d love to see happen. Would be a real good opportunity for the 156 to make its debut into TSW.

So basically a 4 car or sometimes 5 car (if a 153 is attached) (2+2 or 3+2) class 156 will arrive into Crianlarich from Glasgow Queen Street. The front train(s) or two (or three) carriages will uncouple from the rear two and then continue onto Oban once boarding is completed. Another crew will already be on the train for the service to Fort William and once the Oban train has left. They will set up and leave once all passengers have boarded. And that's pretty much it! :)

Having went on this line at the start of the week. I have to say. This is really a must have for a modern day TSW DMU route. As said above, perfect almost for a 156 debut. :)

Furthermore, the Helensburgh (North Clyde Line) terminal could be created. Just to run 334s there. At least as far as Dalmuir! It's located 2/3mi after the Craigendoran Junction. 334 to Helesburgh and 320 to Balloch?

Yeah they should just stick to Switzerland at this point. They seem to do better with Swiss content.

it would be nice if DTG could implement RETB because that would bring a very unique experience to TSW. otherwise the route could be set in 1983 with class 37's
