Morning everyone, so I’m not sure if the developers can do this but I’m sure they can given how realistic these train routes have been but I was proposing if there can be a future update or even a beta for the MTA NYC Subway Routes. I think creating some subway routes will definitely be very exciting especially for a long of folks who haven’t been to New York City but have seen videos of the subway system and would like to experience in some way shape or form how it feels to operate a nyc subway train or even try it in passenger mode. For this nyc subway creation, I was thinking that the developers can start off with the long routes and start with the R46, R62As, R142As, R160s and maybe even the R211 train cars. Again, just a route proposal but I very much believe it can be manifested. I know there’s OPENBVE but it would be cool to have Train Sim World have a nyc subway scenario option
A common suggestion, and not one I disagree with, but DTG have said that MTA will never allow them to do a subway route for security and safety reasons. Right now Bakerloo is your best subway option in TSW.
SubwaySim Hamburg... R3DWolf91, DTG made that statement, I must have missed it, the only thing I heard of was the way the LIRR v2 safety systems are always on
Can't link to it as buried in the forum archive but I do recall Matt P stating that while the license is not an issue, MTA point blank refused any access to the NYC Subway system or trains for gathering research, sounds etc. So the MN and LIRR in TSW is the closest you will get to a subway style experience.
