    What is the opinion from you guys what the best route for German Steam locomotives would be?

    Yeah but hopefully a different developer will do something in the future.

    Hopefully, but small developers don’t really have the money to research steam physics

    So far as we know, most of the small steam developers have declined to do anything with TSW while the core remains in such a state.

    BR 01/23/52 would be amazing, the most famous and amazing German steam trains!

    Well, for freight, BR 44 "Jumbo" on the Harz-Weser-Bahn (Ottbergen-Northeim)

    Hasn't someone proudly announced a BR 99 with Brockenbahn a few months ago? I remember the promotion text.... But then it was always announce and cancel, announce and cancel... probably just attention seeking.

    Well DTG just didn’t do it, I mean look at Stanier or Flying Scotsman,

    Maby tsw 5 will fix that but unlikely.
    But hopefully someone will still try to do it because I don't think I will get easier in the future to get good references for steam engines

    I don't think Flying Scotsman is too bad. Atleast better then Stanier
