Update August 5th, 2024 - Suspension Not Working? (answered)

Suspension not working here after update (e.g. 4024) and why is Vectron not included in the list, please? Any ETA?

Also can't see any updates to formation designer

 

I was wondering for the 642 what the results are but it does not anything

 

Just tested and nothing too, I’m more worried about what things they broke with this update.

Yeah I have PTSDs from DTG.

 

Suspension is not working at all, for any of the train on the list for me. Broken update. Surprised?

 

Apparently the wrong build got send out for the update from what people on the Discord server are saying.

 

They’ve done a DTG. Again.

No suspension updates have gone out.

 

Suspension not working for me either On Steam. Also Beta tag is not removed from Formation Designer.

Edit : Just seen Discord. No suspension or formation designer today. Can‘t see anything on the forum yet though

 

Me too, tried 4024, BR185, Class380 and Class66 and couldn't see any suspension vibration at all.

You will not see suspension working, as the update was incomplete. No suspension changes have gone out.

It's not even "incomplete", it's just they put the wrong release notes out. It wasn't a suspension update.

 

New info: This update was just the pre-patch for the Expert 101, suspension is still in final testing

 

Ah, I see. Suspension is coming with TSW5 and will be back ported to TSW4 sometime in November.

Can you give the right patchnotes than? There is an update out today so what was updated there than?

 

and what about creators club changes?

 

Is there any oversight or peer checking of this stuff before it goes out? DTG really starting to look like a bunch of amateurs but charging pro level prices.

Looks like 'International Rescue' in Vorarlberg is still broken. The freight train passes by and the AI ÖBB 4024 is still stuck at the station with a red light further on.

When does the ÖBB 1116 from the Semmeringbahn gets a LZB Fix? Die LZB does not really function at all, it doesn't display the allowed speed, nor the distance to the next speed limitation. Also after leaving an LZB section, the train just dies and doesn't apply any power (tested after the recent update)

I know it´s not the topic, but the LFR cab car isn´t playable in custom/CC liveries anymore. Not even selectable in its standard livery in Formation designer. I deleted all mods, repaired the game via Steam (I play on PC), the cab car keeps on crashing in custom liveries. I have made a thread about that (https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/the-update-broke-the-lfr-n-wagen-cab-car-resolved.83349/), that got locked because the problem got "resolved" but it just doesn´t work anymore as it is supposed to be.

I don´t want to blame any DTG member, it´s just that "deleting the mods" didn´t work...and also the TSG N-Wagens from the BR 218 still aren´t selectable!

I know, I just wanted to express my confusion yesterday, Since the thread I posted got locked

 

Finally somebody else is annoyed by the incomplete lzb implementation.

The other thing with the power..., usually after leaving an lzb section, the afb lever has to be set back to 0, and moved into forward Vsoll = or higher than current speed to get the traction power back.

I know that and tested it, in my game the loco just dies and doesn't apply any power. Even after shutting the entire train down und put it back on from cold start, it still doesn't want to start so I guess you just can't use the LZB on the 1116
