The Norfolk Southern N-Line is a nice route, but as usual, I did encounter a few problems with the locomotives that come with it. - On the GP38-2 (both lo-nose and high hood), the rear ditch lights flash and turn on at the same time as the front ones. - On the high hood GP38-2, there's no way to toggle the ditch lights on and off. All they do is flash when the horn is blown. - On the lo-nose GP38-2, the door gets stuck once you open it. - On the high hood GP38-2, one of the wheels does not turn. It just drags.
When there is a problem you should report it - http://dovetailgames.kayako.com/ You will get a reply and DTG will be able to keep an track of faults Peter
Add to the list one axle of the GP38-2 does not turn. I give up on Kayako they can glean the information from here.
Air brake mechanics on these locos are also botched. Train Air should not have any effect on locomotive braking when bailed off. (actuated) Also it shouldn't take long to pump up the Train EQ reservoir when not coupled to any wagons. Either they are using a bicycle pump for an air compressor or the simulator is behaving like you are connected to 12,000 ft of train all the time. The braking behavior for the GP-9 should be identical, perhaps there is a way to copy this over? Also what's the deal with the Horn Sound? Again a simple copy from one of the other diesels would work.
I am not sure. The Provo route and equipment (GP9 and SD40-2) seem to operate normally but the equipment on the new N line does not.
so am i the only one that has missing front and rear wiper on door of gp38-2 low nose also when you open door the door not open when external view.
