So the todays update log said, there was something fixed with the LZB on the 1116. I thought finally the missing LZB screen was there like it should be from the beginning. But another pointless disappointing "DTG approach", where it seems the LZB display itself remains totaly missing?

This was reported since the release of the semmering bahn, but seemingly it was not implemented on purpose.

The "Hud" is not an excuse to get rid of basic loco features, which were present even in TSC, because my Hud is deactivated entirely. How im supposed to see the distances now?

meridian#2659, not sure what you are saying here. I just ran a service on Summeringnahn with the 1116 and my PZB works fine. Will load it from a save to get a screen shot. Now I had to start it with the keyboard shortcuts on my pc.

The left is the LZB Gauge TSWs variant has on the ES64U2. The right screen is from the vectron MFD, but doesnt make a diffenrence.

Did you figure it out? (PZB works fine, my thread is about the LZB displaying)

Guess I am not understanding. My pzb info is showing on the left screen as I come to a stop.

Ok we leave out ETCS, but LZB is needed above >160kmh, since PZBs highest possible speed is 165kmh. For example on Kassel Würzburg its needed for speeds up to 250 / 280 kmh.

My problem as noHud driver is, i cant see the distances after LZB catched into the guidance. Its the yellow bar left on the MFD. Basicly it shows the same as on the left picture the center gauge.

OK, now I am understanding what is happening. I am driving a freight at the moment so LZB is not an issue. Also, I do not remember any of the Austrian routes even needing LZB,

... that's the good side. There's no austrian LZB route for the Taurus yet.

Not saying the 1116 is bad, but sometimes dovetail disappoints in very basic things. Questioning the priorities, which seem to have "working elevators" over railway relevant aspects. Out of that they planned to make an update today which is great, so why not use the opportunity to fix this?

seems to me that the radio silence about the issue means they have no idea why it is broken and how to fix it meaning that 1116 will never have LZB and on a route that has LZB they will probably make a new 1116 or 1216 for the railjet that suddenly does work. without fixing previous releases.

it's a bit early. but all I want for christmas is the preservation crew back.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before and/or whether this has been the case since launch, but I think the PZB and LZB isolation switches in the corridor are the wrong way around. When I turn on PZB, LZB is activated and vice versa.
