i would like to see the abllity to use real train timetables in a silmmer way that microsoft flight simulator does. what does everyone else thank you so for example we go drive real trains instead of 2019 for example
see my edits the diference is using timeables that are based on is live so for exampple todays timetable and in 2019
Each route is set in a certain time period. The timetables at that point in time were real. Having every route with the most recent irl timetable would make the game boring.
Wasn’t even aware that was a thing in Flight Sim. However all other considerations aside, the game would not support dynamic timetables like that. Each timetable is basically hand built from the WTT appropriate to the time and each train given its paths through the route. The whole thing then needs to be tested to ensure it works. I mean, TSW can’t even vary platforming or routing if necessary so it could not cope with what the OP is suggesting. Maybe there is scope for a route to have more than one timetable, for example a Sunday or Summer Saturday variation, but again these would all have to be built by hand. Apart from Joe, I don’t even know how many people DTG has on timetable creation.
