Hello friends! In this thread I will be talking about if this could possibly become the first ever Canadian-us border route? We already obviously have a Canadian route which is the Oakville subdivision. But what if we Got a second one this time linking from Canada to over the us border route? This route that I will be talking about is via rails Windsor corridor line which runs about 7 times an entire day since this obviously isn’t much services I was thinking possibly the rest could be Cn freight services and equipment moves along the line basically the same as Oakville subdivision but way more enhanced possibly featuring new cn train units. To add more fun to this route The via rail Toronto-Windsor corridor starts all the way down at Toronto union in Toronto (which is not that far from the beautiful Lake Ontario.) and would Go all the way down to niagra falls in the us theirs a niagra falls in Canada which is where Go trains terminate/end from but that’s in Canada the niagra falls station in the us crosses over the beautiful Canadian border bridge before it arrives at this stop. The length of the route is around 131-134Km which I know is very long but will give players a good about 2-15 Hours off playtime off of this route. Now I will be talking about the Toronto station this train starts from at this station in Toronto, this station is a massive terminus for trains as you have Go trains, Via rail services, Amtrak and the Toronto subway Line 1 this station is absolutely massive in size and very amazing, Via rail uses the Amtrak p42s I believe but since that train does not exist in tsw obviously I believe the train the dovetail has for Boston sprinter I believe that train also is used by via on the same route and it still runs till this day if that is the case. This via rail route makes stops at Toronto union station and Go express all the way down to niagra falls Us border the amount of stations on this ions if the the train where to make every stop I believe would be around 13-15 stops this train makes a couple of stops along the way for example which include Oakville, aldershot st Catherine’s niagra falls Ontario canada, etc I Plan to rewrite this whole thread over again using photos and providing more information on this route But I hope this gives you all A good idea of this route and the potential it Could have the service as the first us Canadian border route in tsw for us players, and a quick note friends since via rail only runs on this route I believe about 7 times a day freight services by cn would also have to be added to make this dlc a much more funner dlc since so little trains run obviously you have Amtrak and go transit but their was licensing issues with go transit so this is not possible well anyways friends sorry for the long Thread post lol but hope you enjoyed have a wonderful day everyone bye!!
It would make more sense for Vancouver to Seattle I think. With Amtrak Cascade services. But needs to be in the suggestion section.
I moved this thread over to suggestions friends you can chat their if you would like don’t know how to delete this thread lol
The Adirondack (New York-Montreal) is another great idea, although, the route is 381 miles long (way too long for TSW). I would really like to see a decent section of the Amtrak Cascades in game, too. With a Canadian-US border route, we could get CPKC, CP Rail, VIA, and more CN locomotives. I'd suggest the SCV-42 Charger and/or P42DC Genesis for VIA Rail; CP/CPKC SD70ACU, ES44AC, AC4400CWM, SD40-2, GP38-2 SD30C-ECO, and GP20C-ECO; CN SD75IACC or SD75I, C40-8/C40-8W, C44-9W, AC44C6M, SD40-2(W), GP40-2(W), GP38-2(W), ES44AC, ET44AC, SD70ACe, SD70M-2, SD60, and SD60F.
Please - reformat the suggestion, I can't read that wall of text, jumping lines. Hello friends! This would the first US Canadian border route in TSW, and a quick note friends: Since Via Rail only runs on this route, I believe about seven times a day freight services by CN would also have to be added to make this DLC a much more fun DLS since so little trains run. Obviously you have Amtrak and GO Transit but there was licensing issues with GO Transit, so this is not possible. Well anyways friends, sorry for the long post *lol* but hope you enjoyed. Have a wonderful day everyone, bye!!
Even if DTG has the budget and capability now, it will not develop such a large route. The simplest reason is how to charge?
