Link works for me it is slower than normal to load but it did work. The menu structure looks a lot better than the current one. Would like to see what changes you made to the hud look like.

Journey mode does look interesting. It might gives you a reason to go back to a specific route and complete some additional tasks aswell as helping new players to get a better understanding of the game.
The new "Score" System does look interesing and more consistent in the way to earn points and i like that you can actually see if you stayed under the speed limit and such things.

I hope that we will get more detailed statistics on the loco pages aswell to keep better track of things than just mileage and level.

Very curious about the list of fixes included with the new update. I hope we get so see that list ahead of August 15th

In the new trailer you can see moving cars on the streets beside the Peninsula Corridor.

Hopefully they also adding the missing Destination Boards for DB Talent 2, BR 143 or the LIRR plus Station Informations about with Train are arriving.

And on Main Spessart Bahn was the Time Schedule not working because there was never a time to arrived or left the stations

Journey mode sounds kinda...meh, and I hope there's a way to turn off the scoring system, because I like to drive casually without being scolded for every teeny tiny error I make (come on, it's not Japan here). I loved the Peninsula Corridor route for TS, so I'm curious to see if it will get better or worse in TSW. I hope they implement the different services into the service mode schedule, like the local, limited, and Baby Bullet express services. Also, the F40 and cab car had better not have all the problems they had in TS, such as horrible acceleration and braking, silent alerters, etc. And if there's any form of cab signaling or safety systems, we can all count on them being very much broken. That's a DTG trademark.

I'm guessing about the standard £25 for the new US route if you don't have the dulux edition?

There will be a stream on 2 Aug - this will be dedicated to Gotthardbahn (details will follow).

We will then look at both the new TSW route and the changes that are coming with the 2020 update. Just finished sorting other stuff out so will focus on Stream planning from next week.

Can't promise new people I'm afraid, but isn't Matt highly entertaining already Matto140 ? :P

I did some research and the route from San Francisco to san jose is about 42 miles so I think something along those lines

It would be nice if each service gave you an estimate on how long it would take like the freight services on the NEC.

as we will be awarded meddles on compleating services etc what will happen to the ones already compleated? will they still be ticked? and what will happen if the player doesn't get enough points to be awarded a medal? and will we still have the +2 tolerance on speed before being penalised?

The same route was on Train Simulator but with the entire 77 miles to Gilroy and with Different Caltrains and Freight Service.

Why can TSW never got routes with 77 miles?

They can but as stated previously, it takes longer to make a longer/full length route.

Because TSW has a greater detail compared to TS since you can get out of the train anywhere. So doing a route in TSW takes way more time. In the end they would need to charge more for the route which they dont want to do currently or dont see that enough people would buy it. Its a cost / time factor

A new 47 mile route in terms of TSW route lengths puts it up there as the second longest after Sand Patch Grade....Iim happy with that. The F40PH will also be fun to drive I am sure

The new summary screens & graphs look nice and the score actually matters now. I have already completed all the training and scenarios for every DLC so far, so I am not too sure how useful journey mode will be to me, but great for new players. All in all, looks like a solid update come Aug 15th....can't wait :)

Hi! There’s a “Real Life Demo” of Peninsula Corridor ( S. Jose to S. Francisco )

Yeah DTG is going to have a real job with this route. My question still: only F40PH? Why not the Legend MP36PH-3C? Some notes: max speed is 79 mph or 127 kmh, and this route has some sections like LIRR, specially stop-stations in height

I think they put 2 Caltrains and the Freight Locomotive in.

Because only One Passenger Train for routes are not really great just like LIRR, because you see always the same Train but in real life are different Trains driving.

    This should be also available

Also the MP36 locomotives should be included if the bombardier coaches would be included. I really hope the F40PH and Nippon-Shayro cars aren't the only rolling stock with the new route.

The Union Pacific RR line in San Francisco (including rail freight yards) should be included with the route, it would add realism and more fun to operate the trains knowing that you have to let trains pass and have more options to drive in that route. DTG should consider adding UPRR to the route.

I agree with the UP on the Peninsula Corridor. I'd like different engines than CSX HH. I'd prefer a UP ES44AC, ET44AC, SD70ACe(T4), or SD70M for heavy freights and a GP60 or 3GS21B Genset for switching. It depends on what years the route is set.

Looking forward to the Peninsula route and the new play modes - as others have mentioned, I too enjoyed the TSXX Caltrain run. The showcase screenshot at Millbrae that you've provided looks fantastic! Could this be used as a baseline to launch a future BART addition to the TSW franchise?

Do you know how long it would take to make all that. We'll be lucky to have a geep. Even luckier for that to be a new geep like the gp60. A es44ac for this route would be highly unlikely.

For me the most important thing is that there is freight action on that route too. Even if it's the same freight locomotives that are in TSW already. If there is new rolling freight stock it would be fantastic.

That debriefing screen though! Yay! That looks very much like a step in the right di.... no wait that means I must drive safe now... oh dear...

All (well, some) jokes aside, I'd like if it showed whether PZB/AWS/the American stuff was active. Would make it even better for bragging. ;)

Interesting changes, especially the menu, reminds me a bit of the TS Classic system.
I assume there are not 'new' scenario's, just that it combines the scenario's, tutorials and service mode into a single screen?

Also glad to see that the points really do something now, as it was a bit useless as those points you gathered earlier were not actually given when completing the service. Instead it was based on the amount of stops and time taken.
The debrief screen reminds of Diesel Railcar Simulator, it features almost the same style, only it displays the 'target' speed as well (how you should have driven).

It should take a step forwards this game.
But I still question why there should be a '2020' version, as the core updates are free, the yearly number is not actually doing something. Personally I rather have no number in the game name.
I get the 'refresh', but people would buy the content anyway if they wanted it.

Also wondering if the Unreal version has changed, still on 4.16.3
Fishing Sim World with the Pro Tour got updated to 4.21.2.

Last point is the audio, there was always a huge difference in audio quality between Fishing Sim World and Train Sim World, the latter was always very silent if you even compare with Train Sim Classic. Always needed (until I changed a .ini file) to boost the audio (guide on the Steam Community which works fine and no audio is lost).
As the game doesn't go beyond 1.0. Hopefully that is fixed in this version.
That is also the reason why people complain on the DTG stream that they can't hear the audio as it isn't coming through alright.
