So, as we‘ll all be downloading TSW5 in the near future I wondered… Any comments regarding compatibility of mods? I also hope we don‘t get too many new bugs with existing content which worked fine in the previous iteration.
From what i gather from the modders who are in the beta programme, many mods need to be repackaged but otherwise they work fine. Matt
Thanks, good to know. I know, its basically not really your duty to support mods, but for people on the PC many of them are really game changing and actually the game feels weird without them. (Spikee's Cabcam fixes, the many engine room transition mods for the 218, 111, 110 and so on.) Good luck with the new game!
My mod depends on if changes are made to the according RailVehicleView files, not the core. If yes, I need to unpack the whole game and redo the mod cab by cab - might take some time, but don't worry, it'll be compatible. Curious if the AssetRegistry override (empty) will still be needed for adding textures.
