A bit of a theory which is likely wrong, but I'll throw it out here anyway: Could the new Layer Enable/Disable option pave the way to things such as Thameslink on BML or an overhauled HMA timetable? Layers are now at the decision of the user and I imagine it would be possible to outright block them on some versions (Xbox One, PS4, etc.) so that players don't suffer issues. So; would it now be possible to have these huge timetables filled out, so that the devices capable of running them at their fullest can, if the player wants, with lower-end devices able to pick and choose which layers they want (out of the × amount they can handle.)?
If a developer wants to remake the timetable in their free time since most of them are done that way anyway. Or if there's a remaster and they have the resources and time to remake the timetable
