The introduction of the NL to the game is the biggest plus for me, along with the fact that they are cooperating. Looking forward to more Dutch content to come.

 

It seems the ICE T will have their unique names on the side of the end cars. There was a short clip during the interview showing it. In this case, ICE "Trier" alongside the coat of arms of the city. Something I wish would already have been part of the ICE 1 one KWG, but it's nice to finally see it here.

 

Yeah I can confirm that I saw that as well, when I was at Gamescom! Happy to see this addition.

 

What a nice touch! I didn’t know before that ICE coaches has their own names. Thank you guys for capturing this small detail and sharing with us! Can’t wait for visiting Frankfurt - Fulda route, just haven’t decided yet which edition to grab. (Regional DE + Flixtrain, or Standard + Flixtrain, or Deluxe). Early acces isn’t a such a big deal for me as iam pretty patient and can wait few days. At least there is much time to think about till mid-september.

 

That is true, why else are we not allowed to mess with the ICE 3 on CC?

DTG have been specifically told by DB not to allow the ICE 3 on cc. I find it odd that ICE 1 is allowed but maybe because they don't care that much about it. Bottom line is ICE 3's design is copyrighted by DB.

If you can copyright a train design you can copyright a building design.

The 101 expert on Köln Achen is just legendary. Driving at 200kmh on LZB. Looking forward to the new timetable.

I hope for an normal or expert Version of the mighty DB BR 151. German freight routes like Ruhr Sieg Nord would be a dream to play, especially those cozy night runs with the clacks and buzzing in the back Cheers

 

The Series S was a joke from Microsoft, This Console is terrible

 

which routes does flextrain run on in the game

 

We don´t know yet.... but there is a couple it could run and it can show up basically everywhere as AI (besides stuff like Niddertalbahn). They only run a couple of services per day, so it´s not loads of work to add them in everywhere.

I think I prefer the newer look, or this one:
those are those special "highspeed" dostos for BR 102... too bad Skoda didnt do very well with these, because they look so cool and are certified for 189 kph

 

It would be great to bring some new dosto wagons, it’s somehow extreme to recycle one rolling stock again and again without any upgrading for so long and so many times.

In this video, you can also see, that the ticket machines in Frankfurt Hbf have the regional logos.
So the license seems to be there, so why do the Dostos and the BR 423 not have it?
Or will it be added before release?

yeah, the icons on the side, showing class etc are also wrong (were already wrong on the Köln-version)

 

I have noticed that the Dostos have orange PIS which is honestly kinda cool to be honest


which however the 146 doesn't have (yet?)

 

This is great since some regions almost only use Dostos with the yellow PIS

 

That's great to hear! I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Zwolle - Groningen route turns out. Knowing that NS reached out to Dovetail Games is very encouraging, and it’s promising to hear that they have access to the necessary information for accurate modeling and signaling. It definitely makes me hopeful for the future of Dutch routes in Train Sim World. I hope this is the start of even more detailed and immersive Dutch content in the game!

 

I love these clean threads where i can find a recap right at the top.

I never used to be a big german content player till i learned pzb now i cant get enough of it. I really hope we get something like this or even one of the twindexx, so many loco options but only 3 really wagon types.

 

I am looking forward to Frankfurt Fulda - cos if I got it right from the information we got, looks like we might get more than one LZB section, meaning more than one LZB/PZB transition with AFB reset procedure, one of my fav things to do when I have a chance

 

It's just one LZB section, 16 km between Hanau and Gelnhausen. But shortly afterwards, at Haitz-Höchst, the GNT section to Flieden starts, so you'll still have some great variety on the safety systems side.

 

awww, I was looking forward to multiple LZB/PZB transitions... I like this kind of challenge where you have to be vigilant and know a sequence of steps to do during the transition, like power change on LGV Mediterranee or AC/DC change on SEHS

speaking of Hanau, I have a kind of funny memory - during one of my travels to Vienna and such, I decided to have a little trip to St.Polten on an ICE (ICE can be quite expensive for someone with my wage, so I decided to have just a little taste)... train arrived and me, all happy, managed to actually find a free seat... my joy was shortlived, however, as right at Meidling a family with two kids boarded and they had seat reservations, so I had to stand for the rest of the ride... and guess where they were heading ... Hanau ... thats how and why I know where it is haha

 

Are you sure? I would think that you are still in LZB when leaving Fulda?! Remember, on KWG DTG solved this by setting the train up in such a way that you were already connected to LZB when taking over the train. I was assuming it is done the same here. The ICEs usually don’t leave LZB until after the first or second signal past the signal at the platform.

Driving towards Fulda I am not sure where you would be taken into LZB, tbh…

 

according to openrailwaymap, as soon as you joing the high speed line to Würzburg. both parralel lines have LZB. the bridge off to the freight yard and Fulda track 1, 2 and the most north track like on KWG have no LZB. I recall on KWG the RE stood on track one so those should be outside of LZB and start a small section of it before leaving it again. and of course then the Hanau - Gelnhausen strech. ICE's should stay on LZB entering or leaving Fulda until the part where you again leave the high speed line.

I'm personally very exited to see the timetable. I don't know much about that area apart from FF Hbf a bit and Fulda. but according to a video from beutezug. the 5 to 2 to 3 and back to 2 and then 5 tracks on the Hanau - Gelnhausen bit with mixed freight. fern and nachverkehr sounds like a very busy and interesting place to be. especially driving the RB81 in the middle or some freight making room for ICE's.

 

I wouldn't take OpenRailwayMap as gospel.
