This route is a very unique one, being the only route now that runs Class 333s, the route has a very nice network feel to it, and would be perfect for those who enjoy it.

It also includes Keighley, home of the Keighley and Worth Valley Heritage Railway, so those WSR layers will come in handy

The route from Leeds to Skipton takes around 40 minutes end to end, giving you a good service length for commuter runs

    LOCOS:

The Unique and spectacular BR Class 333 is the prime motive power on this route, doing most of the services between Leeds, Skipton, and Bradford Forster Square, this is a very rare loco, only being seen on this line alone. And it’s a great addition to the TSW franchise!

making a return on this route is the BR Class 158, this time in Northern Livery! Featuring both the two and three car variants for this route, this loco would run semi fast services to Leeds

    LAYERS:

Class 801 (Peterborough Doncaster) - doing 1 service a day between Leeds And Skipton, only stopping at Keighley, includes 2 more services from Bradford Forster Square stopping at Shipley then ending at Leeds

Class 66 - does the occasional freight along the line, going towards the Settle - Carlisle Line

This route features tons of layers from WSR featuring as still stock at Keighley, with the occasional heritage run

    ROUTE SUMMARY

40ish Mile Route from Leeds to Skipton, Ilkley, and Bradford Forster Square
Experience a nice Varied Northern Network route
Experience Unique Traction With the BR Class 333 in Northern Livery
Experience Semifast Diesel Sprinter Services with the BR Class 158 (2 and 3 car) in Northern Livery

Would love to see this in game. Just based on how non linear it is makes it a perfect contender, as well as giving Northern a proper route to stretch it's legs, rather than the incredibly short Glossop line.

I'm by no means familiar with the 333, but it's cab has always struck me as unique for a UK EMU (as well as its general body design), despite being a dreaded "one handle" EMU.

The more I see this suggestion, the more I want it.

We could maybe have a DLC in the form of the Class 331 (although it would be better off with its own route and then layer on).

It has to be a contender for inclusion in the next few years.. it’s almost a no brainer!

I’ll add to it and suggest Neville Hill is included, as that’s the extent of the wires heading East, but also the home depot for the Class 333’s. It also means we could run some EMT HST empties there from Leeds station too.

Although there would be a scaled back ai timetable, Leeds itself won’t feel too empty. Especially if some other reskinned / unbranded units made an appearance!

And if we get the Class 91, ECS moves for them as well. Northern currently maintain some there for LNER.
