DTG JD Can I just ask why you only ever show previews and streams using a PC, we would like to see how WCML holds up on console as If the past iterations of TSW are anything to go by its going to be a laggy, stuttery mess?!?! Just for once could you showcase a route on console before release so we get an accurate interpretation of what WE will be Buying???? After all console players do make up a massive chunk of your player bases.......
I have a PS5 so don't have many major issues. Those on Gen 8 though can expect the usual issues to do with outdated hardware.
I get quite bad stuttering and framerate drops on routes with alot of traffic like London Commuter etc and sometime as I'm going along at speed it will stutter and freeze momentarily on XBSX
Well if it looks bad on a PC stream then you know you console users will be in for an even more poor experience than us PC users.
How full is your hard drive? I had stuttering when my hard drive was between 85-100% full. I uninstalled every other game but TSW which brought it down to 55%. And the stuttering stopped. Now I have TSW only on my hard drive and every other game goes onto my 1TB SSD card. And no stutters at all. Xbox Series X.
Xbox and PlayStation has blurred textures always or Flickering So they Can ignore This Things when they Showing only the PC Version
Yes to console previews before launch as they only have Frankfurt - Fulda left to convince me to pre order.
Should be showcasing PC, Xbox Series S/X and PS5 for each route preview. I know it a dev build on stream, but I’ve seen many route previews on PC in previous stream where the game dropped a lot of frames. I should imagine the game being more optimised for PC, but that doesn’t seem the case. Seems PC and console players share the same fate. I wonder if having the top specs i.e an i9 or Ryzen 9 with a 4090 would make any difference on the fps?
For your information, I never got 4 so yes I had enough doesn't mean I'm still not interested in what is being showcased, plus I'm upgrading to the free starter pack. And have you actually thought about my "Enough is Enough" thread might of helped a bit with DTG finally listening to us.......
British Ace previews and reviews all DLCs on a PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X https://www.youtube.com/@TheBritishAce To see how new DLCs run on consoles, he is the best guy to watch.
These days DTG only showcase the content using PC as it's probably the easiest to set up for streaming. Saying that, I think they stream in 1080p which is of course far less than PS5/Series X resolution and what most PC players use. The aural experience is generally less than optimal, with Matt usually sounding like his mic is in the bathroom, and the presenter seemingly using the noisiest mouse available from AliExpress.
