    Does anyone play TSW with a 1440p monitor? If so what are your specs and frame rates? I'm building an AMD PC soon and I'm curious to see if it can take 1440p on high settings since I have heard TSW doesn't perform well for users.

    I play in WQHD with G-Sync but with manually edited ini file (up up hehe) and can't complain. GTX970 around 25-30 FPS

    I have a 1440P Monitor 144HZ with 1ms Response Time.
    FPS are 40+ with RTX 2070 and i7 8th Gen Overclocked Liquid Cooled with in Game Max Settings!
    Remember to edit .ini files for better performance.

    Thank You for letting me know, it seems the GPU I'm getting matches up with the RTX 2070 in terms of gaming performance. Do you know which CPU exactly?

    Thank You again! Sorry to ask for more information, but are the frame rates you told me with or without the ini modifications? Also, do you have a frame rate average and can you clock 60 FPS and above? I just saw some comparisons, and the specs I'm getting seem to be near to exact as yours.

    In all honesty, you just have to wait until you build that system and see for yourself. There are so many variables that comes into play that even if your system is similar to someone else's your fps can be either over the top or far below another. Especially since its an AMD build, comparing it to an INTEL and NVIDIA build would be a difficult comparison given drivers at the time.

    I have a four years old i7 4790k@,4,4ghz and a GTX1080 (two years old) and I am playing at 3440x1440 on an Acer predator X34a 34" with gsync and ultra settings, 125% screen percentage and some engine.ini tweaks.
    Without engine.ini tweaks its no problem to have constant 60fps or higher for me.

    Just out of curiosity can you guys post your engine tweaks from the .ini file. I want to see what you guys did in comparison to what i use.

    Yeah, good idea, since my system is close to Daniel's and since I play with 120% the flickering became less

    I only have this in my engine.ini:

    r.ViewDistanceScale=8
    r.SkeletalMeshLODBias=-2
    foliage.LODDistanceScale=4
    r.Color.Mid=0.4

    Why not use r.EyeAdaptationQuality=0? It has no effect on framerate.

    No way you are getting a constant 60fps at 1440p with those specs, maybe on somerset.

    Darthtool believe it or not, here is a screenshot WITH the engine.ini tweaks and fps counter on. At this position on the TVL route I get 60fps and on other parts 50-60fps.
    If I delete the engine.ini tweaks I get around 10-20fps more.
    Sure at big yards etc. the fps drops under 50fps, but still high fps for that settings and with gsync you don't see much difference on that fps anyway.

    NJT Railfan why should I switch that off?

    I was asking why you aren't using it since i don't effect your FPS. I don't see it in the engine.ini list you sent.

    Well it switches an effect off and don't makes the game look better, so no reason for me to turn it off ;-)
