I feel like this area of London is poorly covered, so this route would sort that. General Route: London Waterloo - Woking via Staines, Hounslow and Surbiton. (Around 56 miles). Branches: Staines - Windsor, Surbiton - Hampton Court. (Around 9 miles). Rolling Stock: Class 450, Class 455, Class 458. DLC Trains: Class 444, Class 701, Class 159. Possible Branches: New Malden - Shepperton (Around 18 miles). Layers/AI: Class 377, Class 387, Class 66 Total Length (everything including possibility's): Around 83 miles. Final Thoughts: This route would be a great addition to TSW with a very non-linear style and would be a load of fun for players with plenty of rolling stock and service variation. Guard mode would also be in use on this route, I am unsure which area of this route actually have guards as I am not aware of this area. This route in the modern day would be preferred as apposed to SWT era, as we would have the refurbished 458s and everything else. Please don't hesitate to argue with my opinions and let me know your thoughts. Thanks
Given the complexity of the London area, I'd say if we had Waterloo, then we wouldn't have the branches.
If you access what track is already there from BML, then it appears to just be Waterloo itself thats missing at that end, so if it can be reused, it would only really have to be Clapham outbound that needs building.
Any time anyone mentions SWR, licensing is rolled out. I really want to see a Waterloo route in the sim, especially as we now the 350, which is pretty damn close to the 450, it's 3rd rail cousin. At this point I'd even take an unbranded SWR route, as long as Clapham Junction was in it.
The license for SWT, like EMT, is with the DfT. The government own the brand, so it wouldn't be hard to get the license for it.
Network southeast slamdoors. With loco hauled class 50s. Waterloo to Portsmouth direct is more likely.
