Is there TGV AI services in Frankfurt - Fulda route as shown in this video? Would love to see more variety on this route with a busy FRA station
Obtained TGV DLC in my TSW4 special edition and I played it two times. First in tutorial, second on service run. Third run never come and don’t think it ever will (Mostly same as US and UK content), so it would be nice to have it at least as a scenery improvement for Frankfurt Hbf feeling. Nice!
TGV/Thalys is in fact rather common sight in west of Germany, they should have layers on Köln - Aachen, Rhein-Ruhr, München - Augsburg, Mannheim - Kaiserslautern, Frankfurt - Fulda..
LGV was one of my first DLC's. I bought it thinking this would be the best DLC to buy because it was so highly rated on Steam. I immediately felt how expectations and reality of some DLC can differ
How they tortured the already poor Duplex ... Give us already a NORMAL, NEW French route with new rolling stock and space for Duplex((
Here is the Frankfurt-fulda showcase but only in German. To me, the ICE-T feels noticeably plastic almost as if someone forgot to give it a dirt map and the timetable "only" has 516 playable services including all layers, which doesn't feel very busy for Frankfurt Hbf.
In the era those routes are set in its luckily Thalys. Bad part is that its now Eurostar so hard to find who owns the Thalys license
Frankfurt will be busy with lot of trains leaving to f.e. Brussels (ICE3M) Dosto"s to Koblenz etc etc. We just can go 1 way, but AI layers should be a big amount too
Oh yeah, I forgot how Frankfurt Main is basically a 6-way junction including the underground S-Bahn. And we obviously only get one of those directions as drivable.
Will the DB BR 218 diesel be layered onto this route. i have noticed in youtube vids that it runs around the frankfurt area

how will it run there if its the wrong version of TGV? We need to have PZB in it to be able to run it there (just like ICE3M**LOVE) has TVM/KVB in the cab to run in France). Hopefully they will add it. If DTG won't then hopefully a hyped community member will be able to add it in!
Wasted potential for the poor TGV. DTG have made little effort to add any French content for it and now the new Frankfurt route. It would be nice to see another French route in the game at some point too, with a mix of high speed and commuter services.
Just for reference, it was brought up during the preview stream and the comment from the team was that they've looked into it, but that there were some technical limitations that prevented it from working. They were discussing the new layer system which shows a TGV layer, but they quickly mentioned that the layer is empty as they couldn't make it work.
Correct, there is no TGV present on the Frankfurt route, the layer is empty as it was a plan to try and include it but the implemented TGV is not actually the one that runs in Germany - while it looks identical on its exterior - and thus doesn't have the right power support so doesn't work. We're looking at options to see if we can add it as AI later, but no promises. Matt.
