With HUD enabled, changes to throttle or brakes pop up on the right edge of our screen. But i, too, like to run routes i know wth F1 toggling HUD off for immersion. But with Parkinsons, whether i use controller or BT keybd i make dbl-taps or worse on keys or jarring moves on ctrlr triggers and buttons . If i can see what i last did, then i have a better chance of correcting unintended actions. But the popup often has vanished before i have been able to grasp what it said. Could those be made to have an option to stay for 10, 20, 30 sec ? Could CTRL-0 ( zer ) bring back the last one ? Parkinsns is not just tremor: many of us do not even have hand tremor. It is cognitive, perceptual and worse. And it is progressive degeneration on many such levels. If TSW5 turns out to be my last sim, it would need to be a bit more adaptive to the needs of anyone with Parkinsonism or other such challenges. Think of a Michael Keaton in a time loco instead of the car invented here in my Canadian province of NB. This suggestion made thanks to Apple iOS text correction suggestions. And btw, dictation is not a long term option : Michael Keatn battles to speak more than to move. Linda Ronstadt cannot sing ... her voice went before her walking failed her.
Unfortunately, the most I can give you is hope. The executive producer of Dovetail Games is remarkably determined to make Train Sim World as accessible as possible. I hope he sees this.
