They are in CSX:HH. Definitely hope they return, though. Actually, crossings as a whole could use some work, the German ones in TSW for example are completely unrealistic.

i hope we will be running full trains of passengers, and not empty all the time like usually they are with other routes.

Can’t wait, but please tell us you already work for the extension to Gilroy and the MP36 PH with Bombardier Cars as another DLC

I wouldn't expect any extensions of TSW routes until a few years in the future since Train Sim World is relatively new still. Dovetail Games only started extending route for TS1 years after the original release. The MP36PH is probably more likely to be a loco dlc for the route in the shorter term.

Hey guys, i was wondering, do the Caltrain passenger trains always utilize the push/pull operations on this route?

Ive seen a couple of youtube videos where there was a caltrain loco coming from the opposite direction of the passengers view. Just wanted to know.

Is there going to be a pre release stream with the new route and for new features possibly this Friday?

Yes, I think. Most of the "cab view" shots of the route are from the cabcar, since passengers can reach the front door/window on the lower level- the driver's on the upper level.

I am excited for this route and all the services in general, and as a console player seeing those three multi unit freight trains is very exciting indeed. I’m also happy to hear we will be moving gravel, an exciting time for TSW indeed. Not only do we have this exciting route to look forward to but we also get to try out all of the new TSW2020 features as well!

Matt indicated on his stream last night there would be 2 streams prior to release. I would assume one for TSW 2020 and the other for the new route.

This is looking good however I really hope that for freight equipment we get at least a tankcar cement hopper and dirty dirt hopper in order to properly replicate operations on the route.

Well, you can see a dirty dirt hopper in the screenshots. The trailer also shows a center beam flatcar. Hopefully there is more, though.

Can't wait to see a bit more of the cab car once the DLC is out! Always enjoyed riding the coaches on the Metra Network so this will definitely be a great thing to experience.

I hope the "busy Peninsula Corridor" in service mode will be more like MSB than LIRR.

Hi, I have definitely seen an improvement from each route in not just railroad traffic but also with the surroundings. With this route set in California I have a feeling we will see lots of traffic wether it’s passengers or on the rails.

I have been watching some TS19 videos of the peninsula Corridor route and I can’t express how thrilled I am that we have passenger and freight trains. The one thing I really enjoy about the Tees valley line is it’s a straightforward route with slight elevation changes and this route looks pretty similar to that. I really enjoy the NEC route passenger trains and freight but I’m excited to see a new USA route implement all of the things they have learned since that release! One week till we get our hands on not only the peninsula corridor route but also all of the changes to the core game with TSW2020!

What I like about it is that (from the screenshots) each station is different and unique unlike LIRR

I 1000% agree with you! When I saw these pictures I got so excited. It may be a small detail but even just seeing the school busses in the background makes it feel like it is it’s very own place. Now the second picture, seeing the green “Redwood city” sign in the background really has me excited to stop at these stations and maybe one day I’ll be able to drive this route by just using landmarks that are around this route. Very excited Maddog! I hope you are as well! 25110A64-A2AF-4A5B-B4D0-F7E0157CBA51.jpeg 3DA36EE1-67C9-418C-9CB1-080C013DB99A.jpeg

Long Island Rail Road is really generic and boring the stations, only New York Penn and Jamaica looks good

Where this route is flat and straight similar to the way Tees Valley line is. Tees Valley line runs 27 miles and Peninsula Corridor runs 47 miles can we expect this route to be about twice the length?

    Hello Gary,

I am impressed from the UP-pictures. Could you tell me please how many freight cars the GP38-2 trio is pulling on the pictures?

I am very happy that there will be unloading action. I hope that we get a good mix between switching, (un)loading and longer freight transport services.

Yes! I play on console so not much of a choice! I choose the free switching scenario. They give you a bunch of GP-38s and a lot of freight to play around with. I really wish they could some how implement every route with its own free switching/Driving mode. I was really excited to see we would have three locomotive set up for freight!

I'm really hoping for crossings, which DTG somehow managed to avoid on NEC. After all, we saw one in a picture in the previous Peninsula Corridor post. Also, I think they should add the UP GP40-2, for those of us who have it. Freight is honestly pointless if we can't have at least 2 different locos imo.

My longest train at NEC New York was around 35 cars. The GP38-2 trio had a hard work with it. I drove in the New Rochelle direction till I arrived the red signal.

There are crossings in LIRR, too, just for the record, but there are plenty of them here- in fact, there will even be a short section of street running, since it looks like they have the branch to the port area near South San Francisco modeled.

Why's that, exactly? Kind of an odd opinion to have. If a single locomotive can simulate almost all of certain kind of operation on a route, I don't see why we'd need another locomotive for that operation. Besides, the GP40-2 is just so similar to the GP38-2 in every way that I never really got why they made it in the first place... not that a UP skin of the GP40-2 wouldn't be great for those who own the DLC, but still.

About half way through the trailer it shows a crossing with working lights but I think it’s to late in the video to tell if the actual crossing bars go down. I hope so!!

Not sure why anyone’s getting hyped about the gates being down and lights flashing. Every route except CSX has the gates down and lights flashing permanently. There is no evidence to say this route does anything different than all those other routes.
