Steam [resolved] Tsw5 On Steam, Major Issues

Looks like it's fixed!

 

Confirmed-ish. Uninstalled, restarted Steam, TSW5 now showing as 285GB required for install, and 274GB download started.

 

Same issue here. But a new download just started...

 

I think it's fixed. I am now downloading 155GB so I am thinking that's the right one.

 

I have the same problem. Steam (PC).

Bought TSW 5 Deluxe but when I launch it it loads TSW 4. While loading the game, it shows some kind of dev console showing all it is doing while launching.

 

Uninstalled and reinstalled now got a 42.5 Gb download (includes the two DLC routes I ticked). Somehow don’t think I’ll be playing this evening.

 

The best thing is steam is now giving a connection timeout.

Restarting Steam has fixed it and the DL size is now showing as 298.1GB. Thank the Lord for gigabit internet.

I uninstalled, closed and restarted Steam.
315GB downloading now.

 

Just looked and I am getting a new dl so will see once it is done. As for Dovetail Live, I can sign into it if I go to it and not try within TSW5. I did not have to uninstall what was already there.

 

Small tip - if you just want to play the new contet ASAP, unselect DLCs in the TSW 5 steam properties, this way only the necessary files get downloaded

Steam also downloaded TSW 4. TSW 5 is still greyed out (not installed). When clicking on TSW 5 in my Steam library it only shows, that the game will be published on September 17th. So no early access on Steam? I orderd deluxe edition.
I also rwstarted the Steam client. But it made no difference.

Sign out of Steam, close the programme and then try again, mines now downloading 219 GB!

I think someone uploaded the wrong TSW 4 version on steam as TSW 5 I think it's a debug version.

 

Yea downloads now. How can I make sure that my player profile from TSW4 gets imported so that I won't start over at level 1?

 

Some things never change, DTG messing up! Again, after so many previous misses still no QA before a major release.

 

It's now downloading 130 Gigabytes

 

I always take my internet speed for granted until it comes time to download the new yearly iteration of this game. 200+ GB in 21 minutes makes me so grateful. Phew lol.

 

Is it letting you connect to DTL now?

This just one BIG JOKE... I just may way for 90% sale, How is happening after all these years, was no ZERO testing to see how things should and would go on the day of Release. Good to see they are quick to the draw McGraw, but really now...
