I can unlock/lock the doors, from the rear cab, but it makes me go to another door in the train to press signal, pressing signal in the cab does nothing.

On the stream that's playing now, Matt explained that the cab guard controls do not work, but it is on the list to be looked at (which might mean it could come, but might mean it won't.

To play conductor mode, go to a passenger door, open the guard panel cover, unlock with the key, press local door release, check the platform, press door release, do platform duties, press lock doors, check the platform is clear, lock the panel with the key to close your door, unlock the panel again, press the buzzer twice, lock the panel, then close the panel cover.

    Then start checking tickets.

I should add that some Train Operating Companies do this in real life, but I'm not sure about LNWR.
