I'm going to do a monthly development insight into one mod I release within the current month (e.g September for this one) whether it has released or not to explain what goes on behind-the-scenes September's 'Development Insight': Case Study: (TG08) FLX30 Aachen (BR 193) We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08 to talk about the scenario (below) '(TG08) FLX30 Aachen (BR 193)' that released earlier this month . Why did you choose to make this scenario? TrainGeek08: "I chose to make this scenario as it provides a different experience to the regular Talent 2 or ICE run you have in the normal timetable. I could have done a Eurostar service but I chose FLIXTRAIN as I was making a livery for the Vectron based on FT, so in order to use the livery in this scenario, I would have to do the FLX30 service along this line. So, this is how the idea came about." Will this scenario be re-released with the official FT Vectron from TSW5? TG08: "As much as I want to do so, this scenario will NOT have the official Vectron in it. This is because it has already released and I am focusing on the next batch of projects. However, the 'FLIXDivert' scenario WILL have the official FT Vectron, so don't worry, I haven't forgotten." Would you recommend this scenario to any new players of the game? TG08: "Good question. Depends on if the player is interested in high-speed running right from the start. Some players might prefer commuter action but others might go off and do freight services on Cajon Pass for example, it depends on what you like. Personally, I would recommend this scenario for beginners, as it does not feature the constant use of the PZB system, which new players may find challenging to understand at first." Do you think DTG really did 'nick' your idea with their official FLIXTRAIN Vectron in TSW5? TG08: "As much as I made that joke last week about it, I think it is a pure coincidence that DTG have made an official FT Vectron for the Kinzigtalbahn in TSW5 only two months after my reskin released for TSW4. I have had a massive increase in subscribers of that livery, I'm guessing it is all of those who are stuck playing TSW4." Did you enjoy making the scenario? TG08: "It is a different experience when making a scenario for this route as you have to focus on two sets of services for the same scenario. As you focus on the main line traffic, you also have to consider the S-Bahn side between Koln and Duren as well for the high authenticity of the gameplay." How popular is this scenario after release? TG08: "As of today (13th September), it has 71 subscribers and counting. It seems that my fanbase likes high-speed style scenarios compared to commuter-style scenarios. This trend is one that I am starting to notice... could it form the basis of the 2025 trends data?" You are my best creator. I've been following you (TG08) for a while now. Thank you for sharing your work! I really appreciate your creations! IUnfortunately, the search tool has a few shortcomings. For example, you can't search by creator and you can't leave a comment.
Unfortunately these will be TSW5-exclusive I'm afraid . As some scenarios will require stock from TSW5 routes i.e. FLIXDivert. Thank you so much for the kind words and support. I'm so glad you have been enjoying the work I put out as I do put lots of time and effort into my liveries and scenarios . Creators Club can be a bit of a pain sometimes but an easier way to find my work is by searching TG08 and everything will appear (except formations as DTG haven't updated the website yet). Leaving comments would be a good idea as it is a better way of providing feedback instead of it being missed due to people not knowing about my CC Releases thread on here. This would benefit me as it helps to see if there is any negative elements of the scenario that need tweaking for example.
