    Desiro 350 Excellent modelling inside and out.Great to operate once you get used to brakes.Very well done internal lighting.
    Small sound issue from inside cab; sounds like a hoot,it clips then loops.
    Don't know if it's been reported yet.
    Accidentally put this in the rant post previously.

    The stop marker at Watford Junction for a 9 car Pendo is way off. Service is the 1214 EUS to EDB. PS5. 390/0

    The train is also in a backwards formation.

    What’s wrong with the GSMR? Mine is working fine on both trains, and I haven’t seen anyone else complain. Also, The TPWS at Euston is a 15MPH speed limit upon entry, hence I’m assuming is why you are emergency braking, if that’s the case.

    For the services to Birmingham new street, it only says Birmingham when is should say Birminham N Street

    Service 2T06 07:40 Tring-London Euston should call additionally at Apsley, Kings Langley and Bushey.

    I think the timetable needs to be remade from scratch.

    The Class 66 horn seems excessively quiet, both with or without the cab windows open - sounds fine from external view, just when in first person it sounds as though you're a million miles away from it, the engine noise also seems pretty quiet compared to how it sounded in TSW4...
    (I'm on Xbox Series S)

    My Tier 1 Mastery for WCML is in a half finished status and it is impossible to advance in Tier 2.

    As you can see in the image below, it says Tier 1 is completed, but it shows that the first requirement (drive 20 miles) is not done.
    I am sure I drove more than 20 miles (in fact I got the Steam achievement for driving more than 100 miles with the Class 350 in WCML).

    Tier 2 says it is "In Progress" but nothing that I do is counting towards the end goal.

    The air conditioning tooltip does not show the correct value. In the image below you can see that 22ºC are selected, but the tooltip says 20ºC.
    The max and min values are OK (it says OFF when it is OFF and it says 26ºC when it is set at 26ºC) but the values in between are not.

    If you stop short of the buffers at Euston on a 390 it seems that one cannot engage power and continue on….you have no option but the open the doors and let the passengers alight!
    PC Steam version.

    Anyone else having issues with the wipers on the class 350?
    I've turned them onto quick, then after about 10 seconds of madness, they just stopped. Tried to reset the unit and aux off/on and still nothing.

    Right, do have a question for DTG regarding this. The Middle bit of this ''I can fully understand the disappointment''
    So if you knew it would annoy us passionate players and who voice our criticisms about Rivet then why bloody give it to Rivet?? I mean why! For such a requested route and to give it to Rivet is disgraceful. Since playing WCML more and more and looking at the Scenery in more depth, it is horrifying and so badly done. It is utterly disgraceful for such a requested route. Timetable missing stops, Departure boards showing no off world destination (i know this is flagged) Wrong Station names on departure boards E.G Birmingham but should be Birmingham New Street, Not Euston should be London Euston etc Missing stops on departure boards. The 1st class is the wrong way around. Literally lots of issues I am now realising, at first when playing it, I was mind blown and like wow but now more depth it simply ain't good enough for a TSW 5 product and a core route. And again one of the community's most requested UK route. Also the last bit of 'ultimately feel hurt' how do you think us as a community feel to have (sorry to repeat myself) such a requested route given to us in this quality. We feel hurt because we have had to spend our money on that and to receive poor quality.

    I was running 1F22 and couldn't depart from Euston.. because another service had terminated just outside of the station, meaning no trains could get in or out.. I removed the train and signals are now working as intended though.

    {Edit: the signal worked for an AI LNWR service, however has not worked for me nor anything else after.)

    You were probably going too fast when you passed over the TPWS grid that protects the end of the platform and caused an emergency brake application. When that happens you have to reset the alarm and wait around 1 minute before the train will let you apply power again.

    I dont know what is the exact speed limit to pass over the grid. I know you can pass it at 10mph.

    Unless you tripped the TPWS on your way in, then it's just the game recognising you've stopped somewhere in the platform, and so moves onto the next objective, which is to open the doors.

    The alternative is having to stop exactly on the marker, which is often in the wrong place, which itself can be very frustrating.

    Speed should be below 40 to not trip the TPWS (at least, it works on the Azuma).

    I'm hoping in the next couple of updates, there can be some liberties taken with the 350 fleet - many many more of the services should be 8-car but a subclass of the 350 with a smaller fleet was chosen. I understand another subclass is, as close as we can consider in the game, identical so perhaps we can see this added to fill out the 8-car services and additional timetable services that will be added (right Rivet??).

    Is there a reason why the Power Brake Controller (PBC) on the Class 350/1 has five notches of traction labelled on it (1, 2, 3, 4 and "max"), but you can set the lever only to notch 4 at maximum?

    The real train only has 4 notches. It's just an awful design of the surround plate.

    I turned them off for a couple of mins of blind madness and then tried again and they worked.

    Speed limit is 15mph (as per the signs at the end of the platform), but the HUD shows 25mph. I expect a lot of people will have this problem given the different between TPWS and the HUD.

    The more you play this route, the more you realise it has a really poor build quality.

    It shows a distinct lack of attention to detail, and a "that'll do" attitude.

    Yeah the TPWS speed is 15 apparently going into Euston. I had the same issue until I went below 15 and was fine, hope this helps! :)

    This was already covered in the preview stream, I believe it was how they were built or something, not entirely sure. I don’t believe it is a bug!

    Quite literally mate bang on. After an hour of playing WCML frame rates drop and it gets laggy this is on Gen 9. Absolutely ludicrous

    I'm not into all the conspiratorial dumping on development teams, everyone who worked on this route worked very hard indeed. But it's difficult not to conclude that the 710 timetable was a placeholder and they forgot to go back and build a proper one, I found one ECS service that took me along the Down road instead of the Up from Watford to Willesden. It's just all wrong isn't it?

    We've all done it at work, gone home on Friday with that feeling you didn't do something important.

    Train: 1972 Mk II Tube Stock

    • When starting a service from Harrow & Wealdstone you begin parked in the Centre Siding, a depot track. Yet the train is already full with passengers.
    • As mentioned in an earlier post no passengers ever get on or off the train
    However, all passengers usually disappears before you reach the first stop of Kenton.
    1. If you look at the front of the train with the number 2 camera there are passengers in the first carriage
    2. Press 2 again to move to the back, and then once more to get to the front again and the passengers in the first carriage have vanished
    3. Go to the back of the train again and there will be no passengers in the rear carriage either. Soon the whole train is empty. It happens while you are driving.

    I know the functionality of that signal is glitched, but I'm impressed by the effort that has gone into creating that signal - correct LU fonts for the signal nameplate and correct font for the speedsign. What confuses and mildly irritates me is why can't this be done for the rest of their UK mainline routes? The fonts used on the mainline are terrible. Been waiting years for an update. The German routes, however, are realistic in this respect, decent fonts used.

    That happens on the 380s on Cathcart Circle. Leave Glasgow Central full of passengers, but by the time of the first stop, they train is empty

    - Missing stop markers at Harrow
    - Before passing signal TK 2500 it gave me an AWS warning despite being green at the time

    I've now done 3 runs on this route, on a 390, 350 and 710. I'm enjoying the route itself, but noticed the lack of 710s and 72 Stock at peak time, and the incorrect font on the Overground signs. The 710 timetable has issues that others have pointed out, frankly it should be started from scratch based on the actual timetable.

    Hello,

    I've noticed that in some of the new ECS movement scenarios on the WCML south in TSW5 it is impossible to get a Platinum medal, the requirement is 250 points, yet all that is achievable is 225

    • 1 x 500yds = 65
    • 1 x objective = 160
    for a total of 225 points.

    I'm playing on the Steam platform

    Things I like:
    • Class 377 and 72 Stock getting suspension a some point (hopefully).
    • The Class 390.


    Problems that have already mentioned that I agree with:
    • Poor timetable, especially for the 710 and 72 stock. There are also no railtours, RHTT, ROG 37 drags, etc.
    • Poor scenery in some areas, especially the Bakerloo section that doesn't seem to have been updated much. If old routes like WSR, Cathcart, GWE get free remasters, I think a paid route should definitely have more than just TOD 4 added.
    • Poor attention to detail, such as using default UE font for signs, unrealistic route maps, etc.
    • Poor performance, despite the empty timetable and lack of detailed scenery.
    • No neutral sections.
    • No off map destinations.
    • No neutral sections.
    • Poor night lighting.


    Some problems I haven't seen mentioned much yet:
    • No depot interiors.
    • No deep snow.
    • No rail sparks.
    • Every train from WCML South is missing the individual units in formation designer.
    • The coupler on the Class 350 is bugged, in real life it can couple to the ROG 37, but in game it can only couple to other Class 350's. The Coupler ID has been incorrectly set to 'Bar' instead of 'Dellner'.


    Overall I think in its current state it is disappointing and not worth full price. The German and US routes are far more polished.

    Might explain the sparse 710 timetable, most of the fleet are at Ilford TMD being repaired after hitting a badly placed monitor at Harlesden.

    I think this sign at Berkhamsted needs flipping around so the arrows don't point to the track and the TfL font to be used on the overground stations and signage.
