just a weird question I want to ask, its been awhile now and when will the scotrail 158 and 380 be on sale? I kinda want to get them but is it really worth getting them on with the current price? Both add-ons are currently 108 HKD (Hong Kong Dollars) for me.
If they aren't on sale on Steam now, then they may be on sale around the end of October, and maybe December. Basically, every two months. As for other platforms, no clue.
just from your opinion, are the 2 380 and 158 worth getting with its current price/if i am kind of desperate for them?
Scotrail 380 I bought full price. This will give you the new Cathcart Circle timetable and you will get extra layers for it from the WCML and ECML (if you bought TSW4 last year). Since you are considering buying the Class 158 I assume you also own Edinburgh - Glasgow, which will add the 385 layer. That makes Cathcart full enough to enjoy as is. Scotrail 158 I will wait until there is a nice sale, since I only really want it for the Cathcart AI layer. The layer for Edinburgh - Glasgow is a nice plus, but not the main reason to get the class 158 for me. Hope this helps you make a decision.
I would wait for the Leven branch update on Fife Circle as that is the route the 158 was supposed to be for. The 380 is a great DLC.
I don't have them, so I can't say. I have heard that they are good, but if you want them and feel like the price that they are at currently is worth it, then buy it.
I bought both at full price. The Class 380 is amazing, but the light panel and floating gangway door bugs on the class 158 make me regret buying it. Youll probably see both get a discount in the autumn or winter sales.
No one here can tell you when a specific DLC will go on sale. If you're on Steam, put it on your wishlist and you'll be notified as soon as it's on sale.
