PS5 [resolved] Tsw5 Deluxe No Import Profile

Yeah, it's clearly a bug since a number of us have posted about it. They are working on it. I hate playing the game without my old profile, though I did a quick jaunt through the Training Center last night. But I'm not going to do a lot for the time being.

 

Probably not even a bug , they just pushed a version to scea PS5 players without the option even in the game. More than likely we won't see this fixed until the game hits and the proper version will come... Super annoying .. I don't want to play without my progress being saved.. thanks for the early access demo??? Ughhhh

They won't push a new version to fix this for us early access.people , we will just suffer until the proper version hits on Tuesday

 

Pouring it on from the US. No option to import my TSW4 profile at first launch.

 

Yeah I bought the Deluxe, but not even going to fire it up until I see a patch come through (and then I'll check the forums).

I don't play a lot ... just a little now and then. So what little progress I do make I want to actually keep.

 

Well seems this thread got pinned, and today is release day. Could it be that we’ll be able to transfer our profiles soon?

 

I'm getting a little worried. A patch has already been released that does not address this issue. It's starting to appear that we won't have our profiles on launch day which is tremendously disappointing. DTG-Chris, has there been any update on this issue?

 

Am I missing something? Profile automatically switched over to tsw5 for me. Including all my user created content.

 

The inability to import a profile from TSW 4 to TSW 5 is affecting players on PS5 in the Sony Americas region only, apparently, so if you're not in that region, it should have worked as intended for you.

 

Are you in the EU or US?

 

Yep, this is very, very disappointing.

 

I have TSW5 downloaded and installed, but when I go into play there is no import profile option available. All there is is "Create New Profile". I am linked to my Dovetail account as I can see it in the top right hand corner. None of my TSW4 content is available either

I have the same issue and im in the UK on PC (Xbox app) I was level 230 and now im back to the start in terms of progress and been like this since early acess release dates . any updates?

 

Just seen alot of ppl having the issue in the discord hopefully it gets fixed soon

 

Here on PS4 there is also no option to bring a profile from TSW4.

Well bad news… we’ll have to reinstall all our content but on the positive side, your personal liveries you created are transferred as well so you won’t have to upload them to the CC, to redownload them again.

Thank you DTG Jamie . Do you have an estimate of when you will be able to resolve this? My PS4 says I have over 150 extensions in TSW5, but some DLCs have icons from TSW3 and TSW4

 

Yeah looks like everyone having the Pfp issue as well, (Live in America) (PlayStation user). But aside from that yeah the option to transfer your saved progress isn’t showed in the game, it showed for people that uploaded vids on YT… anywho, hopefully we can get an update the next day or tonight for this, because I really don’t want to start fresh again, it’s already a lot of addons etc, and to restart it is gonna be a hassle, though I don’t mind doing that,but still. Hopefully they can resolve this issue fast.

Yeah I'm having the same issue and this is really disappointing. Hope they push a fix soon.

 

I’m content with not touching 5 until they fix this issue I’m not starting over again for a third time

 

Just saw this post after spending 30 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong. Disappointing. Guess I will start playing and then circle back when it’s fixed. I already had to restart once due to ps4 to ps5 issues don’t want to restart again

I’ve been having the same problem here. Downloaded the starter pack on my PS5 and don’t have an option to import profile data from TSW4 including addons

It seems I didn't learn once again... In TSW4 I waited for it to go on sale so I could buy it and ended up avoiding the chaotic scenarios of the launch. Now I believed it and bought TSW5 in pre-sale, I was fooled, Too many cuts to run on the PS4, jumping between one station and another makes the game crash, and worst of all, I can't import my profile from TSW4. We try, but we get very upset with the DTG flaws.

 

It's 18th. of September , but I still not got the TSW4 locos and routes

I went to the add ons for tsw5 in the PlayStation app, and selected. When I picked an add on I owned, it asked if I wanted to save it to my library. Then installed and it showed up correctly. I had to do this for each add on. They all have either tsw4 or tsw5 icons now. I read you can do this in the store in tsw5 too.

 

Is that for ps5 because it’s now 9/18 and it’s still has not given me a option to upload my profile, they said they’re working on it so we’ll just have to wait

 

The Store is the key! I have to download all of the DLC-s (Routes and Locos)

 

There is some addons that are TSW5 but not all gonna be available. When I tried downloading everything that I have. I don’t have them all together. It just disappears plus doesn’t show importing existing profile at all. Hopefully with patience it will be resolved soon enough

Yes, I can confirm the patch came through and I am now able to import my profile from TSW4. In the U.S. on PS5.

 

It worked, but I had to delete my save data. It wouldn't show up in the switch profile section. After deleting save data and opening the game it gave me the option to import.

Just imported my PS5 profile here in Canada !

One remaining PS5 issue: BR 204 now has a store caption: Unavailable.

Even that looks like progress. I like it as AI for railyards, sidings as much as for shunting.

Btw, off topic, did slow speed switch and settings on EWS class 66 never work in the past ? It sets, but on East Coastway aggregates Cargo timetable, it does nothing. But stay in cab under free roam at task end ... surprise !

 

Okay I know how my TSW4 import on my TSW5 now, but it’s definitely a struggle with the importing and downloading addons to the game, the Playstore on PlayStation is all over the place, just a mess. But if you follow the instructions you should be fine.
