where are installing to the C drive? If so check Windows Defender, Windows UAC, Windows Firewall, any AV program you have all of these can and will cause issues with any game and program, try giving the game Admin rights, I use the paid version of Bitdefender (there is a free version) and I have my games installed on SSD that is not the C drive.
