Is The Windows Store Version Of Train Sim World Differend To The Other Pc Versions?

Hello,
my question is, is the Windows Store Version differend to other TSW Versions on the PC. Although i've set everything to high and/or ultra settings it looks different to the steam version for what i've seen so far. It looks way sharper on the same settings on steam. On the Windows Store Version the crowns of the trees look much worse than on steam. Am I just imagining it or is there really a difference?

 

They should be the exact same game.

 

it seems to me its just an adapted XBOX Series X version.

 

They look exactly the same on my PC. The only difference being the mods I installed on the Steam version.

You should not find any difference in graphics. There are some differences on permissions in the game files that make a difference if you are intetested in the Editor.

 

Seems unlikely given the poor (or non-existent) optimization the XSX version has. Much more likely that the Steam PC version you saw was running on a more capable graphics card.

 

No i see it on my own pc. Tested it again. The text is more bold or smeared on the windows store version the crowns of the trees are a mushy mess. On the steam version the text seems a little finer and i can see individual leafs on the trees. On both versions the quality is on ultra on 1080p. Maybe the steam version has better streaming or runs on a differend direct x version?

Why was this thread moved to troubleshooting? I dont havbe any issues with both Versions of TSW. I just wanted to discuss why the Windows Store Version looks worse at the same settings.
