Your Thoughts On Train Sim World Tycoon?

I'm personally excited to have official tsw game on roblox

 

I wouldn't touch roblox with a 10 foot pole if they paid me a 6 figure salary due to the amount of dangerous creeps on Roblox.

 

I prefer Minecraft. Not sure how you'd get a Train Simulator in it though...

 

There's already a plethora of train mods in minecraft. So its already happened I guess..? Just not with DTG

 

Oh right. I'm on Pocket Edition, and don't really mod much. I'm waiting for the minecart update to roll out! Can't wait for that!

 

Ah yeah true, I'm excited to build an accelerating Orbital cannon with it lmao

 

I would rather they remade Railroad Tycoon for the 2020’s than this aberration.

 

Don't worry they are not everywhere.
I haven't seen a single one (maybe)
They will surely not be in a train game

 

After 2 hours of Bus Simulator on Roblox I got 3 weird DMs. So it's definitely gonna be on that game too. TwT

 

From what they’ve showed it seems to be your standard Roblox tycoon. Let the money build up and then press a button to build a new part of your land. Just so happens that there’s trains you can drive too.

Not the prettiest looking game I gotta say! I know it’s Roblox which is obviously not going to look like any sort of Unreal Engine game, but when Roblox has so many great train games with beautifully modelled trains, it’s definitely odd seeing the trains in TSW Tycoon look so much simpler.

(Guys, Roblox has some really cool train games on there. Huge fan of Stepford County Railway myself)

And also in SCR there is alot of trains with pretty good model

 

Roblox is paedo central. I don't let my kids anywhere near it

 

I've tried British Railways once on a friend's computer. Surprisingly good!

 

I mean, not just on Roblox, pretty sure I wouldn't trust the folks running it either.

 

Any time I played Minecraft back in the day I would end up lovingly crafting rail stations and huge networks connecting my friends' build sites using the various mods our servers used.

 

I feel you, I'm currently digging out a tunnel leading to a subterranean train station as a bit of experimentation

 

It's such a kids mobile game. Nothing like TSW.

I guess it isn't really aimed at us. It's fairly clear that the target audience is VERY young.

 

Which, given it's y'know, Roblox, is uhhhh....

 

Honestly, I feel like Dovetail could have made TSW Tycoon as a standalone game with the same esthetic and features without it being on Roblox. Yeah, maybe the platform can give it some extra marketing but it also automatically comes with a massive backlash from people who absolutely despise it.

Just make it into a browser game. Or a PC game that works even without installing. There are so many more options to make things accessible without going to a controversial platform.
