Not sure if this is supposed to happen, but I picked-up Sand Patch Grade at 50% off in the sale last night, and noticed that the UP Heritage DLC magically appeared in my account. Thinking that I had somehow bought the UP Heritage pack DLC by mistake, I went to Steam support to try and get a refund for it, and saw that it was given free with Sand Patch Grade. Not complaining about getting free stuff, but I am a bit confused. Is this supposed to happen?
Happened last time on TSW4 where some people got a free copy of Cajon Pass and a british loco addon, which has been undone though
It doesn’t matter how much funds you throw at DTG since they like cutting corners. Product after product rushed out the door with very little concern on the consumer. Give me your money and we’ll fix it one day… or not at all.
This is a very terrible thing, their team has made very wonderful plans for each DLC, but they don't have much time to make each DLC, so they can only keep convincing themselves that the excuse is that it will be fixed later....
It’s always the same story isn’t it, we could be discussing this, this time next year and we’d be still be no worse for ware. The only thing I do appreciate that DTG have been doing lately is the remastered versions of older dlc, I just wish on some remasters they went the extra mile and added more branches or extended them slightly. At least we know this is welcomed by DTG with LIRR, but they expect us to pay full asking price for it. Imagine the sim we’d get if Activision ventured into route building. With their 2000+ staff members we’d have full networks of each route. No more A to B nonsense. The only downside Activision would charge us 3x as much for the standard dlc price
Might be 3x more, but my god it'd be worth it. Just image having a full route like London to Edinburgh?
