Hi fellow train drivers, I was browsing the tsw5 shop and I was looking at the dlc routes but I can’t decide which one of buy so I thought I would come here, I would love a route that has fairly frequent stops as I sometimes get bored going between 20-40 miles between routes, my favourite sort of routes are longish but with frequent stops every 3-10 miles sort of thing any suggestions???

London Commuter DLC is fantastic all round.
You get plenty of AI traffic, a mix of fast, semi fast and stopper services, and it looks good too.

Especially with the Thameslink mod. This adds all station stops.

Perhaps Southeastern Highspeed, or even the London Overground/Underground routes.

Outside of the UK, there is Naverkehr Dresden, Cologne-Aachen, and Long Island Railroad.

(Now that I think about it, most of those options have stops less than 3 miles apart)

You should be more specific and tell us what best means for you.

Tbh just about any UK route will fit that breif, in fact I'm struggling to think of ones that don't (upcoming Preston - Carlisle aside). Great Western Express (about to get a remaster), Tees Valley (especially with Fawx's timetable), London Commuter, Blackpool Branches, Southeastern High Speed would be my personal picks

London Commuter, Blackpool Branches, Southeastern High Speed are the ones I use most.

Most of the other routes I own are there purely for layers (sans London Commuter (which is made better on PC with added Thameslink services I am not privy to), the other two (especially SEHS) would be boring without).

I really enjoy Birmingham cross city you stop at practically every stop could do with a little more varied traffic on the route but overall is a rather good route, it is also the most local route to where I live.

Are there semi-fast/limited stop services on that or are they all all stations?

You mean on the bcc I believe most are all stops there may be a few services that miss a few stops, there are also services that only run along part of the route like Birmingham to four oaks for example
