The AI I hate is the lane assist or front collision detection on new cars. My Yaris is forever nagging as it thinks I’m too near the edge or after overtaking coming back across the lane line. Even worse when it tries to physically steer for you. And the collision detection is erratic. Last week it slammed the brakes on after detecting a cyclist quite safe on the path waiting to cross the road, yet the previous day someone pulled out of a side road as I was approaching at 50 MPH and I had to slam the brakes on myself. That was a white knuckle moment…
While people not standing behind the yellow line is common where I'm from, the AI that I hate generates pieces of work for people to claim as their own. There is a clear difference in quality between your work and that of ChatGPT.
This really did make me laugh as, according to the Mrs, at the last Parish Council meeting/conference/whatever they prefer to call it this week someone from the village went off on one about her feeling concerned that people in the village will get Tesla cars and they may not be able to see her walking down the street with her do and so they should not be allowed in the village in case they 'decide' to run her dog over. She isn't even who I would consider the Village Idiot either! I do have major concerns with AI myself (and I don't even understand a fraction of it) but these aren't the sort of concerns I have. I am happy with my good on internal combustion machines!
