Hello Everyone, I have created a scenario for the workshop route "Turtle Creek Central". This fictional route lacks a few votes to become "final", therefore, I cannot post my scenario in the workshop -- so I invite you to download this RWP file, to be installed by TSC utilities. If you like the "Turtle Creek Central" route, I encourage you to give it a positive rating to help make it "final". (I did not create the route, but it seems to be a nice playground). My plan is to create a series of scenarios (probably about five). In each scenario, the rail cars will be arranged as you left them in the prior scenario. At the end of the series, you will have had the opportunity to drop off (and pick up) rail cars from every location on the route, so it will seem like working for a week on this small railway. The only required DLC is "US Locos & Assets" in addition to the workshop route: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1917975809&searchtext= Your feedback is IMPORTANT -- Please let me know how I can improve my scenarios. Best Regards, Dan Reid P.S. The scenario will appear on the "Career" tab -- there's no schedule (just drive carefully)!
Looks like worth the spotlight. My backlog spans decades, well past my life expectancy, just want to say the route looks great - old assets but the overview pictures are how it should be.
I have created a second scenario for this route. The second scenario is more challenging than the first one. There is no "hand-holding"; you are simply told where rail cars are to be left -- you must figure out how to get them to their destinations. These tasks may be performed in any sequence. I am planning to create three more scenarios like this. You are invited to download the attached RWP file. Your feedback is IMPORTANT -- Please let me know how I can improve my scenarios. Best Regards, Dan Reid
A set of five scenarios is now available for download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18wP2tDKscPnhxPhUNjoiQX83MkevrA5E/view?usp=sharing The first scenario has step-by-step instructions, provided by pop-up message windows. The next four scenarios are "switching puzzles" -- the briefing indicates where rail cars are to be dropped; the player may perform these operations in any sequence. If you prefer detailed instructions rather than making your own decisions, refer to the text files in the Manuals folder. If you choose to download these scenarios, please let me know whether you like or dislike them. Best Regards, Dan Reid
