Opened up TSW5 (free starter pack version) and this is what welcomed me at the pre menu screen...I'm speechless

 

I wonder if 3,2 and 2020 are under there lol.

DTG throwing us more teasers… do I smell an extension? Nah probably not.

 

Can you imagine if they'd charged for it?! And the greatest giggle of all is that people would still have paid for it, and then defended that purchase..

I bet that gets rapidly patched.

 

Kinda reminds me of when someone just sticks a new sale sticker ontop of an old one and it just kinda ends up looking a bit gross.

Actually, they should turn it into a sort of random chance Easter egg where it just glitches between TSW4's and TSW5's title.

 

It's almost like it's the same game......

 

LOL, they could've saved some time and money by only changing the number and let the rest of the logo be

 

And this, my friends, is why they're offering the free upgrade.

It’s like in real world people doing a graffiti over another one made months ago.

 

Well, at least it's a honest statement about the "new" game.

It’s often joked that the changes were so minimal that the new version is essentially TSW 4.5.
This screen is the evidence that DTG agrees on it

 

That screen is an accurate description of what TSW 5 truly is

 

The TSW4 and TSW5 logos already are exactly the same (besides the number).

What it'll be is the 5 logo is slapped on top of the splash screen dynamically - trouble is if you only own the starter pack (I assume), the splash screen used has the 4 logo baked into it, so presumably someone in a rush put the wrong image in or assumed the logo would be completely covered and didn't/couldn't check.

Fantastic for new players who only get the starter pack though
