I've just recently purchased the west coast mainline dlc for my playstation 4. I then realised that the class 710, class 66 and class 377 layers were not working and these trains were not playable on timetable mode for this route, despite these features being advertised on dovetail livestreams, etc. After some research, I found out that these trains were not playable normally on ps4 to "maintain acceptable peformance and stability". However, the class 377 is playable on the scenarios and all locos can be played on free roam. I would like to know why I am not able to play these locos on timetable mode but play them perfectly fine on free roam and scenarios on my ps4 pro. Dovetail should allow ALL users to have the option for layers and be able to remove then if they are having issues.
The timetable mode is a 24hour constantly running process that uses exponentially more computing power than a scenario, which is closed off & only contains a limited number of assets & background processes (ie the timetable), free roam is similar in that you spawning a single train is much less intensive than running a full timetable for it in the background.
