For example. I did Frankfurt Hbf railfanning with all german layers. I went to the AI DB BR 218. And then I did start railfanning. It was so nice to see the traffic on Hbf. Then I installed all UK and US stuff and the other stuff. Then I did ICE-T and ICE one timetable services. FPS went down on some areas down, but I could complete the services. When I reached in Frankfurt, I want to try railfanning again. But after some minutes the game crashed each time. When I did the Flixtrain Vectron scenarios (where you don't have really much rolling stock on the whole route), it crashed sometimes too. I play on PS5. I will reduce from 4K to HD. Probably it helps.

Agree with that - Frankfurt area and some(2 or 3) siddings on WCML are to heavy for this game. Especially WCML contrast, when you drive with 75 beautiful FPS, then BUM - 30-40 through heavy siddings/depot, then after 3-4 seconds goes back to 75.

There are already a lot of recommendations to DTG how they still can improve performance. Layer manager should not be used as an excuse to not push for better performance. The way to go is longer routes with way more traffic (more variety in rolling stock) and detailed scenery, for this its mandatory TSW gets more efficient.

Situation with performance is also really interesting, seems a lot of PC players have big problems, Xbox seems to crash often and from my end on PS5 there are the occasional stutters but its honestly not that bad as expected.
