I did the training on the German Dopple in the training Centre. All fine everything works.
You do a route and nothing works. You do all checks turn the brake key on the reserver into forward you move forward then the blue accelerator on the percentage bar goes up and down, you're still moving then you go to slow down and move the throttle up to speed up. Nothing works the blue percentage bar doesn't do nothing just comes to a grinding halt. When you try and get moving again nothing happens.
Is it a big, am I doing something wrong. It's never gone wrong before.

Don't put the throttle too high. Start off with 30% or so, then move it up as you gain more speed. Move it in slow increments, and keep an eye on the gauge: if it goes up and down, your locos wheels are slipping, slow it down a bit until it is steady again.
If it's raining, you need to be extra careful, it will wheel slip at lower power levels.
I don't think I went higher than 50-60% on dry, and 40-50% on wet.

One more thing: do not apply throttle if the Brake Cylinder is above 1 bar of pressure. If you play without the HUD, the Brake Cylinder is the middle one on your right, labeled Bremszylinder.

The reason why the Dosto cab car behaves differently in different settings is because it doesn't provide any traction, it just remote controls a locomotive on the rear of the train. Depending on what type of loco your train has, you'll need to operate the cab car differently, taking into account the characteristics of the loco.
